HALION TRASH AND MINIBOSSES
***Updated with Halion At the Botom***
Essentially Halion is very easy, but the trash and minbosses have the potential to wipe/kill you very fast. If you go in to a group knowing some of these simple things it could save you some gold and time.
FIRST PACK OF MOBS
The trash here requires a lot of CC to not screw up.
- Polymorph The Humanoid Warriors
1st Mini Boss: Baltharus the Warborn
- He puts a De-Buff on a handful of people called Enervating Brand which does AOE damage to those in a 12yrd radius. So run away.
- He does a Whirlwind. Get away. You will be one shotted.
- 2 (3 25man) tanks are needed because on 10man he splits into a copy of himself at 50% and 70%, 50%, 25% on 25man. Run away when he starts to reach those %'s because of an AOE.
NEXT PULLS
- Large amount of mobs.
- One Commander in the pack. Have a HUNTER ranged MD a tank who is positioned FAR AWAY from the other tank because he increases the mob's damage by 30%.
- The Adds do a shockwave which stuns. CC as much as possible
- The Firedragons have a Blast Nova AOE, interrupt this.
2nd Minboss: Saviana Ragefire
- Tank away from the raid because of firebreath (obvious)
- Tranq shot the occasional Enrage
- The Boss flies over the lake in an air phase. Marks like 5-6 people with beacons. Spread out because you do AOE damage to allies.
At this point there should no new adds you encounter.
3rd Miniboss: General Zarithrian
- Does a "belowing roar" or something which is an AOE fear. You can Tremor this.
- Tank him where he spawns away from the raid.
- Melee sit on boss
- He'll spawn adds on each of the two ramps in the area. Two at a time, one on each side. They can be interrupted.
- Ranged kill the adds. Melee help if they are overwhelmed.
UPDATE:
HALION
PHASE ONE:
Have the Tank pull Halion to the right side facing slightly away from the raid and towards the fire wall.
- Melee be careful of his Fire breath, Cleave, and Tail Swipe.
- Ranged stay somewhat grouped close to Halion so Combustion doesn't get out of hand.
The main component to this phase is Fiery Combustion. You will get a Debuff which each time it deals damage it creates a "Mark of Combustion". The mark relates to the size of the AOE patch you will leave behind where you are standing at the time of a Dispel.
ESSENTIALLY, When you get a Debuff called Fiery Combustion...
- RUN OUT OF THE RAID AS QUICKLY AS POSSIBLE.
Healers dispel this as soon as the marked target is far enough away as to not let him die from range and disrupt raid positioning.
Also Meteor Strike will target somewhere on the ground.
- Causes fire to split in four directions away from the center at that point.
The phase ends when Halion reaches 75%. DO NOT STAND IN FIRE.
PHASE TWO:
Halion switches into the Shadow Realm. There will be a portal you can click on to enter it. When you go in make sure the tank enters slightly before so you don't pull agro and die.
This phase is similar to Phase one with the Mark of Consumption because it acts like Mark of Combustion but has a pullback instead of knockback.
Also, two orbs rotate around the stage. At a certain point the orbs will connect (only two orbs one beam in normal) and they will continue to rotate with a beam spanning the length between the two.
- This beam WILL ONE SHOT YOU. DO NOT HIT IT AND BE A NOOB.
The phase ends at 50%
Just keep strafing as the orbs/beam rotates and you should be fine.
PHASE THREE:
Halion splits in to two and there will be a portal which half the raid should take to return to the normal realm. Mostly ranged should be in normal, and melee in the twilight realm. This way:
- Melee don't have to worry about fire and going ranged.
- Ranged doesn't have to worry about a beam making them move and loose DPS.
Halion also receives a buff called "Corporeality". Without technically explaining it, what it does is balances the damage you do and take between the realms. For example, if you are in the normal realm and doing more damage to Halion than the DPS in the Twilight realm: your raid in the normal realm will take a proportional amount of damage which is 5% more.
IF DPS IS DOING 15% MORE IN THE PHYSICAL REALM, They will take 20% more damage.
On the other end, if one side is doing more DPS then the side which is doing worse will also take less damage. Ex. -10% Damage done = -15% less damage then The normal realm.
Balance DPS!
Phase three is the hardest because it is very hard to split the raid and not screw up.

Hope this helped some people. I did NOT copy this from anywhere, please don't insult me by saying so. Feel free to add any small details and I'll keep this up to date with changes. Thanks
