    My Alch/JC/BS/Ench/Inscritp Spreadsheet

This is a spreadsheet that I made for my own use that I felt I should release since I feel it may be useless once Cataclysm.

Since when I first made it, it was originally just for my use, I had to had little side notes to explain little things a bit. If anything is confusing or unclear just post here and I will clarify.

The only information you need fill in yourself are all the YELLOW boxes. The rest should automatically change itself.

    DOWNLOAD
MEGAUPLOAD - The leading online storage and file delivery service

WHAT YOU WILL FIND IN THIS SPREADSHEET

    Alchemy - Flask Spec
-Basic spreadsheet where you input price of mats/flasks and it will tell you the profit. You can include flask procs and it will add it to the profit.

    Jewelcrafting/Alchemy - Transmute
-This involves creating the meta gems with a transmute spec alchemist, and then crafting them with a jewelcrafter. Again procs are added in.

    Blacksmithing (Belt Buckles)
    -Creating/Selling Belt Buckles

    Enchanting (Scroll of Weapon Enchant)
-Buying mats and creating scroll of weapon enchants with them.

    Inscriptions
-A list of the best selling glyphs on my server. Have a lot more info to put in.

****NOTE: You dont need to worry about changing "Average Cost of Parchment" or the snowfall ink price.

    Enjoy!

Alternatively you can just download LilSparky's Workshop that shows you the price to make and the sell price based on your auctioneer data...
Link: LilSparky's Workshop : TradeSkill Mods : WoWInterface Downloads

Easier than updating a spreadsheet every time you think about making some flasks, etc. IMHO

Thanks for the alchemy part! I've already made a lot of gold from flasks (just now picked up 600g, spent 300g) over the course of three hours with 20 minutes active time. This'll help.

Well it is server dependent. I know that most servers the flasks are profitable. However, as a Flask Spec Alchemist it is almost always profitable.

On my server I buy the mats for a set of 2 flasks for around 28g. Each flask sells for 15g. So thats a 1g profit per flask. So if I make 10 flasks then I make 10g.

Thats without flask spec. Now with flask spec if I have mats to make 10 flasks, and I end up making 14 because of procs, my profit has just shot up from 10g to 70g. (Remember that you make 2 flasks per frost lotus when doing the calculations and all.)

So per week I usually buy mats to make 1000 flasks (so 500 frost lotus). If I had no procs then I would make 1000g that week. However, assuming that I get some procs and end up making 100 more flasks then I planned its a large profit of 2,500g. So its really the procs you make money off of, atleast on my server.

As far as getting them to sell, i dont have too much trouble. Though i do play on a high pop realm. I found that on my server tuesdays and wednesdays at peak raid times were the best time to sell. This past tuesday I had over 100 flasks on the AH and all of them sold within an hour or two. Unfortunatly im not always that luck and this only really occurs on tuesdays if at all. Throughout the rest of the week its sort of like, sell a few flask here and there.

Anyways, hope this helps and gl with the gold making

    @baseballdude02

Tnx for the tips, I have transmute mastery, since that feels more profitable like this, in the end of an expansion...
I make epic gem, some blue metas every day and its ok but i gain more at selling raw herb mats.
I bot in storm peaks everynight for about 800-1500g per night...

Indeed, the elixir mastery is what makes flasks worthwhile as baseballdude02 explained.

I have transmute as well but collect mats for flasks on the ah everytime I see good prices and when in the mood go herbing/mining
stormpeaks. If I have enough mats after 2 weeks to make at least 10 stacks from non procd flasks I pay the 150g to switch masterys
and make them all at once then pay another 150 to switch back to transmute. I then have the 2 weeks again to sell what I made and gather again.

Ill always make my 300 back and then some so its never done me wrong.

Can you explain your formulas for the alchemy part.
I think they might be wrong

For example with Stoneblood you Have ([Lichbloom Cost perstack]/7 + [Frost Lotus Cost] + [Eternal Life Cost]/3+[Vial])/2

    Shouldn't it be
(((Lichbloom Cost/20)*7)+ Frost Lotus Cost + ((Eternal Life Cost/10)*3)+Vial)/2?

It should be based on the cost per item not by the number you need

I can pretty much confirm this after doing some tests and installing Lil'Sparky's

I'm a bit confused.. Should I list the items per item or per stack? E.g. lichbloom 1,20 per item or 24g per stack? As the prices 'paid' to create the items seem to be off to me..

Wish lichbloom was 40g on my server it's like 80-100g.
