How to get Halaa Battle Token (For 2 Talbuk mounts)

There are two PvP Talbuk mounts in Nagrand which are almost impossible to get because in order to get them you need 70/100 halaa battle tokens. To get a halaa battle token you need to get an honorable kill close to halaa. Which for a lvl 80 happens very rarely, unless you have a high enough lvl toon on the opposite faction which i do not.

For this to work you will need two accounts.

Create a dk and complete the starting zone quests, leveling it to 58. Then take it to Nagrand and sit it on one of the ledges surronding Halaa near the bridges. Then put your main on one of the floating islands or in halaa. On your dk run a "/who dalaran mage" and pick one of the mages. Send them a whisper saying something like "Hi, need a port to dalaran, my levels to low for this zone. Will pay 60g" and wait for their response. If they say yes just sit back and wait for em to get to halaa. When they get there and dismount come in on ur main and gank, helps if you bring a friend (You both get tokens). Make sure that when they are coming to you hide your main as they probably wont land if they see you.Usually you can get 1-5 tokens out of each mage, however, sometimes you get lucky and they call in reinforcements which means more tokens for you if u can beat them all (Friends really help here). This takes a while but if your going for the 50 or 100 mount achievements this is a faster and more reliable method than farming rare mounts.

wouldn't you be better to transfer gold via the neutral ah to an alt on the opposing faction and then spam trade offering to pay w.e per kill? given you have the money to fund such a venture...but i mean if you are going for the 50/100 mount achieve i do think you would have a hefty amount of gold. also in the time it would take you to get the full 170 tokens using this method wouldnt it be easier / quicker to just lvl the alt dk to 72? then you could use it to get the pvp achievements as well like 50 kills in city and/or 5 kills in each of opposing faction cities...58-72 should take you maybe a day an a half as a dk...on a side note i did have a lvl 80 alt i farmed for these tokens and killing and ressing nonstop took around 2hrs...and last point with an alty you could always put it to work by selling the kills in trade...oh well just my 2 cents here

This is true. For most classes, it's hard to kill a mage, my mains a mage and I have to say the classes that give me the most problems is a warlock or another mage. But a majority of WOW players don't PvP, so it should be easy if you are pvp geared.

sigh.. You dont get tokens from someone 20 levels under yourself, thats why the DK is there to get a level 80 to come..

for a level 80 char the target to be eligible for honor should be of atleast level 71. Just get a friend that has a lvl 71+ horde or is willing to level 1 to that standard, wich takes maby a day or 2. And kill him over and over again.

Another way is just go to youre realmforums and see if anyone of opposing faction wants to trade kills with you. if someone found he kills you 170 times and you kill him 170 times, or whatever amount you both need.

OPs method does work however it takes allot of patience to gather 100+ mages that are willing to come over to halaa. Im sure 99% of the mages that are willing to go out of their way to port you will respond "meet in shat".

doesnt work anymore, fixed in recent patch. Atleast didnt get it to work less then 2 weeks ago
