Question, I'm a DK with Shadowmourne, full wrathful offpieces, and 4/5 relentless, 1/5 wrathful pvp gear, as well as DBW and almost every other 264+ pve piece available to swap on. PvE is my focus though, and I simply can't reach the skill level it would take in PvP to hit gladiator by the time the season ends. I've been looking to pay a highly skilled PvP DK to play my toon for me instead. Do you think this is a wise idea? With the legendary, i figure this is a better chance than any to hit gladiator and get a wyrm, thus I'm paying a pretty high price in gold for a player.

I guess that depends entirely on how you view the game. The game should be the end, not the means. If you play the game with the sole purpose of getting a trophy (your character) then by all means, go for it. Do whatever it takes to reach the end you desire.

Be aware that you're running a risk. If you're caught you may be banned, or flagged so that they'll pay extra attention to whatever you're doing during the next season, besides not getting any title at all.

You're also getting Gladiator purely through a skill you're not supposed to use (in this case either social engineering, your skill to make absurd amounts of money or your skill as a PVE player, maybe a mix of three) within Arena. Like I said I have nothing against the meta-game, but you have to consider this, what's the point of getting gladiator to you?

If you're ok with this and with the risks and if PVP to you is a means, not an end, then go for it.

Edit: Not to discourage you but at least in my BG/server, the Gladiators and to a lesser extent, duelists, all know the people who paid to get Glad. Usually we comment about these things ("hell yeah player XYZ just paid me WABC gold").

People will also notice that you paid for high ratings if you're not good at PVP at all but has a wyrm or the gladiator title.
