    Gear:
    Profiler - Wowhead
Is the BiS PvE spriest gear you can have so for now.

    Specs:
Talent Calculator - World of Warcraft
13/0/58 is one of the top Spriest specs for now, you can exchange Imp VE and Veilied Shadows for Focused Mind and Shadow Affinity, but it is not recommended.

    Spells
On a boss or trash with a big healthpool your priority should look something like this:
Vampiric Touch -> Mind Blast -> Devouring Plague -> Shadow Word: Pain -> Mindflay.
Always keep Vampiric Touch and Devouring Plague up, when one of them is starting to run out, cast it again, you should also have SW:P up on the target all the time, but if you have the proper spec it will refresh whenever you cast Mind Flay on a target, cast Mind Blast when all dots are applied and it's off cooldown, when all dots have been applied and Mind Blast is on cooldown, then use Mind Flay until you need to re-apply one of the dots or Mind Blast gets off cooldown. On 5 stacks of Shadow weaving you should reapply Shadow Word: Pain for maximum damage, thanks to suisidenoob.

    1. Mind Blast on cooldown.
    2. Cast Mind Flay when everything else is up or on cooldown.
    3. Use Shadow Word Death to deal damage while moving

    AoE

    3 mobs:
Dot everything and then assist or focus.

    More than 3 mobs:
Vampiric Touch freely and then Mind Sear, rotating the target of Mind Sear.
Vampiric Touch is almost always worth casting over Mind Sear, unless you are AoE'ing a lot of very low hit point adds.

    Glyphs
    Recommended Glyphs

    Major Glyphs
    [Glyph of Mind Flay]
    [Glyph of Shadow]
    [Glyph of Shadow Word: Pain]

    Minor
    [Glyph of Shadowfiend]
[Glyph of Levitate] (A must have minor glyph ;P)

    Optional Glyphs

    [Glyph of Fortitude]
    [Glyph of Shadow Protection]
[Glyph of Dispersion] (If you seem to go low on mana fast)

    Macro's:
Shadowfiend macro: Casting his spell after the summon increasing the ammount of mana regained.
    #showtooltip Shadowfiend
    /cast Shadowfiend
    /cast [pet, nomodifier] Shadowcrawl

Mind Flay macro: This macros make sure you cant cast a new Mind Flay while already channeling one.
    #showtooltip Mind Flay
    /cast [nochanneling:Mind Flay] Mind Flay

Mind Sear macro: This macros make sure you cant cast a new Mind Sear while already channeling one.
    #showtooltip Mind Sear
    /cast [nochanneling:Mind Sear] Mind Sear

There's a few things wrong I see about this guide.

There is no best pve spec. You can easily swap out points in Imp VE and Veiled Shadows for Focused Mind and Shadow Affinity(If you have bad tanks or pvp of course)

    A better rotation is VT -> MB -> DP -> MF -> SW:P.
5 stacks of shadow weaving for SW:P is better.
Other than those 2 everything else looks perfect.

Also, if you're not having mana problems, you should switch out [Glyph of Shadow Word: Pain] for [Glyph of Dispersion]. It's much better to have for fights like Sindragosa/Festergut/Putricide.

this isn't a copy and paste off of muqq's there are too many things that are different. You gem based on Socket bonus, you use glyph of mind sear/glyph of dispersion over the shadow word: pain glyph, and the spec listed is not the best current raiding spec for a shadow priest.

Currently Talent Calculator - World of Warcraft

    This requires a total haste + spell power + T104p(roughly ~600 pts) + raid buffs > 5100
With this spec though you effectively drop Mind blast out of your rotation unless you need to keep replenishment up. Then you mind blast every time you re cast VT.

Er, no it doesn't, [Glyph of Shadow Word: Pain] has nothing at all to do with dps, it's just mana regen. With 4 pieces of Tier 10 it's better to take points out of Improved Mind Blast and put them in Focused Mind, (as when you have 4 pc and over 800 haste, Mind Blast is only beneficial for refreshing Replenishment after every VT) then swap out SW:P glyph for the Dispersion one, as the chap said, it's awesome for sind/princes and a hundred other fights. And I've never gone oom in a fight for lack of that glyph.

So basically, you post something, then tell people to go to a external site? Nice. Rofl
