Im pulling 44ms ping with 195-200fps (Not that you can see those framerates) but ... I am running an I7 920 Oc'ed to 4.15ghz... (On air) and I have seen my frames go as high as 1000+ in some areas. But I screw with my config.wtf file quite often. I think I am good with my current settings though. And I am running a 9800GTX atm.

I got about the same on dual 4850X2's... So proof that the cpu is more important than the gpu when it comes to wow.

What's the point of this post, was anyone debating whether wow is CPU dependant?

Thanks for reading my guide, even if it didn't help you, I hope it helped someone else

(I'm not quite sure what's up with my MS. but that has nothing to do with the settings I changed.)

(Yes the first image is a bitmap and the rest are jpeg, hence the quality change)

EDIT: JUST TO CLARIFY: Ignore my MS in the before after pictures. It has nothing to do with ANY of the settings changed.

Yes, that's what I said. I wasn't trying to trash what he posted... but more... Inform what else can help. Apparently Dual-Core and up are best for wow now as it only supports upto 3 processors via the code... But in the meantime... it will run on much higher pc's like Core I7's and such... Just a little bit overkill.
