It doesnt actuallt take 5 minutes, since you have to wait for the arena match to finish before you can sign. So it's more like 20 mintues, still quick though =P

Although imo its better just to play those 10 games (in 5v5 games are rly short). Chances are that you will go to at least 1600 which cuts time to 8 weeks. Rating of 1700 will cut it to 6 weeks... So i don'r rly like the idea, i think its better to play for few hours but get your gear 2/4 weeks earlier then waste 20 mins so you could get your gear at the end of the season

Well... in 2v2 you only get 261 arena pts each week for 10 games, that is why I recommend 5v5 where you would get 344 pts each week with a zero rating.

And, in response to the people who have said that you should just do the games and wn, you are missing the pt lol -- This is useful only if you are trying to save on time, or maybe don't want to put the effort into it with alts that are still gearing up, or possibly, you just want the arena pts so you grab 4 random friends who maybe never stepped foot in arena just so you can use em to que.

But ya, not for everyone lol -- Still useful

anyway decent guide i guess, it IS common sense but that's only to those who have a pretty good understanding of arena... those who hit 80 recently should be able to make use of this. +rep

good idea. my plan is get them to 80 and farm heroics. being horde on my server means you allways have wg so you get shards as well so you can get boots and stuff by the time you have the full set too ^_^

Pretty good way. And if you are mostly into PvE atm and just preparing for PvP this gives a nice boost to getting gear with badges.

Actually this is not true... you do not need any rating at all actually. You just have to complete 10 games... so if you have 10 losses you are still ok.

Think about it... what if you are actually a competitive team but you guys suck terribly and never win even one game? lol --- Blizzard going to give you zero pts? Doesn't work like that.
