It is also a great place to farm as a warlock, feral druid or any class capable of decent aoe.
This spot was a great spot in BC but even more so now due to everyone being level 80.
It maybe worth mentioning the mobs spawn fast/instantly.

, It nets me about 30ish gold a pull, and each pull takes roughly 1 -2 minutes. You will get lots of netherweave, greys, greens and blues. On my server, level 60-70 Greens go for 30-40 a stack, and i did not even include that in the profit margin. I vendored them.
you didn't state that so don't berate someone who wouldn't think of DE'ing gear.
[spoiler]
I'd also like to notate that anything with the AH sales involved shouldn't be added into the per hr total. gold/hr really needs to be redefined for gold in hand per hour without AH being involved due to each server being different as above.
I can for sure say I make 1,700g/hr without AH sales. if I were to involve them and 1/2 day of waiting I could potentially say 3,000/hr which would you rather read in the title for true farming?

it's a repost
Repost.
1. The place near the BT has been known for ages,
2. The other spot has been fully described by someone else alrdy a few weeks ago, but cba to go find the thread.
"Fear, is the true opiate of combat"
To speak honestly about this one I am at mixed feelings about this thread.
First off it is fairly clear if you search for "Shadowmoon Farming" that you will find 4-5 threads mentioning one or the other of these spots in some sort of farming scheme, so it is clear that it is a repost of some sort.
HOWEVER, 90% of those guides capitalize on Farming Rep items or farming netherweave cloth to be the main source of income since they were written during TBC.
Such as http://www.mmowned.com/forums/wow-gu...ing-spots.html

Your area one outside BT was THE most popular Prot War/Paladin and Frost Mage farming spot during TBC (I would know, I had both a Prot Paladin and Frost Mage). Paladin and Warriors used to buy the Rep Shield from Sporegarr that did dmg back to attackers, put a adamantite shield spike on it and get the blue trinket from Shattered Halls heroic that healed you on each block when active.
So what I am going to do is give this a test on my friends ICC geared Prot Paladin this week sometime and come back with my results. If the results are as much as 900g/hour (or basically yield more than the other guides do) then your guide is fine. If it nets a very similar amount as any of the other guides that mention this spot claim to get, then it really isn't any better than those.
However the one thing you really do need to sort out is HOW you claim to attain 900g/hour from this spot. As some other member mentioned:
Other than that all in all I think it is still a worthy contribution and I can see that you did put effort into creating the guide.
Alright, i would test with a paladin but the only classes i have right now is an 80 dk, and 80 rogue.
It took me roughly 2-3 minutes for each pull, and the pulls got me 20-24g counting netherweave, and some signets. I got a few greens, and de'ed those for materials and made quite alot of gold. Im sure a pally could make 900g an hour easily with this though.
Your video was removed. Have another link?
you should take it lightly paw, it may otherwise kill ya. i just pointed it out. . . didnt flame you or anything . . .its not like you had to rage towards my post >.>Im talking about them being disenchanted. The essences go for 20-30 each, the dust goes for 30-40 a stack. Dont try to be a smartass.

Tried this and it just doesn't seem worth the time on my realm. The cloth and signets don't sell for much. Plus the D/E mats don't sell for much either. For an hour I only made about 20g+ off drops and around 20 selling trash.
BTW I tried it as a prot pally. I ended up with about a 10g repair afterwards.
If you think about trying this check the prices of these items on your realm first to see if it is worthwhile.
nice job+Rep
This amount you achieve as you say, 900g will greatly be reduced because. First of all, there is a respawn rate. + the traveling time between those 2 area's, i will say about 300g a hour highest.
