Kentril's Guide to making 900g/hour!

Hello MMowned! Today I bring you a farming spot i have used for quite a while, It nets me about 30ish gold a pull, and each pull takes roughly 1 -2 minutes. You will get lots of netherweave, greys, greens and blues. On my server, level 60-70 Greens go for 30-40 a stack, and i did not even include that in the profit margin. I vendored them.




Now, The farming area is in Outlands, Shadowmoon valley. We will be farming two different areas. I have marked them on the map here.

Area 1. The southern plateau of Black Temple.
Area 2. The ridge / mountain west of Sanctum of Stars

I Perform this with a level 80 4.5k Gear score rogue, And his talents are
Talent Calculator - World of Warcraft
The trinket Essence of Gossamer - Item - World of Warcraft Helps a bit with damage. I never went below 13k from 20k farming.

The rotation is
1. Gather them all up with mount.
2. Pop evasion when stunned/ ready to kill
3. Fan of knives
4. Cold Blood
5. Fan of knives till dead.
If the giant elite from farming area 2 is alive, kill him with mutilate.
I use Deadly poisonx2 for better damage with Fan Of Knives.

I got roughly 20-30g each pull, and they took 1.5-2 minutes each. 60/2 30
30x20 = 600 30-30=900g Not counting greens/ blues. I auction the netherweave, or tailor it into bags, and if i DE'd the greens/blues/epics i could easily make 100-500 more.

Well the rogue spec is what i use personally to dps in raids so i dont know what the hell your talking about........ And this is what i have been using to farm for a while also..

Would this be better as a protection paladin? i have 0 tank gear but full ret gear.

i am doing this now on my protection paladin. I am only getting 4-5 gold per trash pull. Is this including vendoring items ? Im wondering how you factor in your 25-30g per pull... because i dont have nearly close to that.

I recieved like 7ish gold from just silver, about 6 greys, which were 1-3g each, and lots of netherweave cloth (goes for 6g a stack on my server) with a few greens (the DE'ed mats go high as shit for some reason)

yep i get like 5 gold ish per trash pull. Then i get maybe 2 grays? but for some reason the greens just are not dropping. I'm going to keep doing it and we can compare results. Other than that not a bad place + rep

Thanks, i cant remember if i got the greens from the 2nd pull place or first. I did get alot of netherweave from the first place i remember that. Ty for rep

I have been here for 20 minutes time to see what i got. I was soloing all of the mobs at area one, was able to kill a 45,000 hp protection tauren warrior and all the mobs. I love prot pallys. Anyways i have gotten 45 gold from vendor grays and silver looting. 55 gold worth of nether weave cloth. And 3 greens which once disenchanted = 5 + 10 so 15 from green. All in all that is 115 gold in 20 minutes. Times that by 3 and you are looking at.. 350 - 360 gold per hour on my realm.... Either i was unlucky or its server dependant. Those were my results. Look forward to hearing from other ppl.

Im talking about them being disenchanted. The essences go for 20-30 each, the dust goes for 30-40 a stack. Dont try to be a smartass.
