play wow from your iphone/itouch

OK so recently ive been thinking about how i can be even lazier at AFKing in battle grounds and come up with this so i can lay on my bed at night or chill on the couch

Mobile Air Mouse - Air mouse pro

it costs 2.99 in the app store but i have jail broken my device and have gotten it free, i will have a link on how to jailbreak your device at the bottom of this guide and what to do once you have done so

if you have ANY questions feel free to ask and ill probably be able to answer it for you

an application for iphone or ipod touch that gives you
-a full keyboard
-2 button mouse with scroll and multi-touch actions
-tab through all applications open on your computer
-and many other useful options


Step 1 - your PC
-go to this link and download the client for either your PC or Mac Mobile Air Mouse
Windows users
1. Download the installer from the web site by clicking the appropriate link on the bottom of the homepage under Downloads.
2. Run the setup.exe file and follow each screen through until the end.
3. The installer should automatically start the server, but if it doesn't, run it by hand by going into the Air Mouse folder under program files.
4. If you are prompted by your firewall or any antivirus software to block this program, please make sure you select to allow the connection.

Mac users
1. Download the server from the web site by clicking the appropriate link on the bottom of the homepage under Downloads.
2. Copy the Air Mouse server application into your Applications folder.
3. Run the Air Mouse Server.
4. If you are prompted by your firewall or any antivirus software to block this program, please make sure you select to allow the connection.

Once the program is running on your computer it should be ready to go on your device

you can select a password if you wish to make sure it is secure

STEP 2 - your ipod
-Open the application on your iphone
- put in the password if you have set it up that way

Jailbreaking

There are many ways to jailbreak your device but i will list my favorite way
there are many ways on youtube but this guide with be for iphone 3gs mc model

-if you are on 3.1.3 watch this video first and downgrade to 3.1.2

-after you are on 3.1.2 go to this link and download Blackrain
blackweather click on either windows or mac depending on your computer

-plug in your device

-run blackra1n ( make sure itunes is closed ) and click on the make it rain button and wait for your device to reboot completely and leave it plugged in until after the jailbreak is complete

-click on your new blackra1n application and click install cydia

- once inside cydia go to search and type in "install0us" the o is actually a zero

-open your new application and go to settings and under home url type "http://apptrackr.org

-go back to the homepage and load that page as well and simply search for "air mouse pro" install and enjoy

Tips for using airmouse pro

-to run inside of world of warcraft hold both of the mouse clicks down on your application and slide your right finger up until right click is permanently down and all you have to do is left click to move forward

- to switch back to normal just push left click again and it should be fixed\

Good one. You can also install logmein, and then use CTM inside WoW. Like 2 fps, but better then nothing! I don't know if you actually see WoW, or if you only send keys to it (get me right)?

VNC is similar to that, you can see wow but the controls are horrid compared to this and the framerate is also terrible, and this is 10000x smoother than VNC

with this you can't see wow from the device but my screen is on the other side of my room so i can lay in bed and have a good view of the TV and the computer screen

there is a free app that does this called like wow fishing. gives you control of the mouse.

this does not work, just installed and tested, you can not move.

you can click by touching the screen and move the mouse but the right click is used with the accelerometer and can in no way be used to move your character

There is now also a free app on the appstore called Teamviewer, that plus the free client on your PC workds too, no jailbreaking needed.

People with Android phones should try out Gmote. It works like a remote so it should work for this.
