[Useful Tool for Guides] What's the mats

Was browsing a forum we not allowed to mention here and one of their users created a thread explaining about his new website. This is a very useful tool for ingame as well as for when writing your own guides. It has a very fast search engine built into it's site for easy navigation as well as very well laid out and clear results.

You could use screenshots from it in your guides when writing guides about specific craftable materials and it is very easy to use. It is really great if you for example are at work and can't get into WoW to check materials etc. By the way it is powered by WoWHead so please don't reply (It's very similar to wowhead/thottbot, just use those instead). Of course it looks similar.

I would like to inform you that our web calculator is finaly done!!

Whats The Mats is a quick and simple calculator which allows you to find out the raw materials of an item.

Lets take Mysterious Bag for and example:

It takes 4 x Spellweave 2 x Moonshroud and 1 x Eternium Thread to make one,
on the other hand Spellweave is made out of Bolt of Imbued Frostweave and Eternal Fire
then the Bolt of Imbued Frostweave is made out of Bolt of Frostweave and Infinite Dust,
then the Bolt of Frostweave has its own reagents and so on and so on, until you get to:

Eternium Thread 1
Crystallized Life 40
Infinite Dust 12
Frostweave Cloth 60
Crystallized Fire 80

with Whats The Mats you get the raw materials in seconds with just one click

I myself find it very usefull speacially for those nifty engineering recipes which have a zillion sub reagents

Yeah, and what's nice too is that all the links link directly to WoWhead, everyone's favourite WoW Database/Search engine website

And what I like about it is that if you can't spell the name (i keep typing mek'engineer instead of mekengineer) it has the smart suggestion box

Well if you actually had read the original post you would see the purpose of this website is for looking up the mats of things..the difference is you can get a screenshot/image of whats required(like enagic has posted for example) and use it in guides.

hm.. I like Wowhead better, since you can see if their is cooldown on some crafted mats. I was looking for Leggings of Woven death, and it did not have it in their datebase
