I understand what you mean, but is that numbers of gold for wotlk expansion or for when tbc was the active expansion? If this is a guide made for lvl 80's to run around and do I'll try it myself, but if it was made for lvl 70's the items posted and receipes/formulas wouldnt be as much worth for people as if lvl 70 was max : P
I don't play retail WoW anymore, but this is well done. I am sure it will help people who are in desperate need of gold. :P
Death to all but Metal.
It was made for level any character that can enter outlands, flying is a help as well.
I made this guide a week or two ago so I was using up-to-date prices from Thottbot etc.
People need to think outside the box when making money, don't always limited yourself to Northrend / WOTLK gold methods. For example Primal Air sells for 30-40 gold each on my server and I can farm 5 in 20 mins. Just take some time out to take a step back and look around.
Have now all the Supplys up on AH will post results.
I love the guide, but sadly I'm horde =/. I WOULD though love to know what addons you use and if you were able to upload an addon pack to curse or something. Your setup is teh sexy.
I cant really say that this is effective, the items wont get sold.. its very hard to sell thoose items on my server atleast.

My apologies there xtronal, instead of clicking quote to quote your post I accidentally went and editing it, that's why it showed my question in your guide. Again sorry about that.
"Define "the items won't get sold". Are you making an effort? Or are you just going the spoon feed route by posting the items exactly at the prices I list and then QQ later that they won't sell? Every server is different, different players, different needs and different competitors. Are your items not selling because you are being undercut? Are your items not selling because you are posting them way above any of the others of that type on the AH? What days and times are you putting them up? How long are you putting them up? etc."
I understand that this guide is definitely server dependent to get such results, however on ANY server you should be able to still make a reasonable profit - and I want to help you achieve that profit.
What you could try doing is placing everything on the AH at a 12 gold markup price from what you originally bought. So if the item cost you 4 gold to buy, then put it up for 16 gold. When that item sells you still get a 10 gold profit after deducting AH fees and deposit costs.
When you see the item selling, write down which items sell for you, and then try increase your price. The ones that you are struggling to sell - don't buy them again and possibly lower your price until it is bought (keeping it at at least 3-4 gold above what you bought the item from vendor for).
That way you can work out which items sell the best on your server and capitalize on those, getting rid of the ones that don't sell without making a loss.
Let me know how that works for you![]()
Great guide! I find that the Food Recipes done sell that well so I usually skip them and go for the item plans.
I was so shocked when I sold a heap, I felt almost bad for the people who bought them!
yeah, i tried to put em up for 20g each now, 10 of them were sold for 30g each, i suppose the peapole on my server are alittle bit of specialit just took some time, but now i see it was worth it. gonna check mailbox in 12 hours to see if any more recipes were sold but now for 20g, and im sure they did

Hey guys, thanks for all the feedback.
Several people have been asking me about the addons and UI that I used. The problem was I actually forgot the name of the UI pack at the time - then with the 3.3.3 patch the addon pack needed an update to work correctly so I spent some time looking around for it and finally found it! (And yes nice and updated).
It's called PG UI v1.5.1 and it's a really awesome UI pack. The author was kind enough to spend some time with me this evening helping me work out some of the kinks that I came across on my side (was nothing to do with his UI - was a problem with my data files).
