1000+ gold/h as Rogue!

Hello everyone, first of all i would like to say i am new to these forum and i already feel the urge to give you atleast somthing.

Credit goes to Jammno for the video and how i discovered this amazing farming
guide.

This guide should give you atleast 700-1000g/h, 70 BoE epics(goes to alt or just sell) loads of Violet Eye rep (yes you are going kara)

To begin i would ask you to watch the video below on how this is done.

After you have watched the video i will give you some tips and get you started in just 20min

-First of all you DONT need the Essence of Gossamer, sure it might make things easier but its not necessary (Ive never used it)

-When it comes to daggers, just buy two Librarian's Paper Cutter 30g each, and enchant them with Lifeward. (I would suggest two slow daggers if you have them available)

-You DONT need engineering, but you will need Enchanting and Tailoring to maksimize your gold income. (Having an friend or an alt with ench/tailoring works just as fine.)

Meaning you farmed 10 straight hours (all depends on drops)

well seein as its 700~1000g an hour its 7~10 hours of farming. thats not to odd if yer dedicaded. so yeh doable.

on a sidenote if im bored i farm ZA trash for mojo hexsticks. the mobs drop an average of 1g and i usualy sell the sticks for ~50g. after an hour farming i got 300g just in coin vendor trash few greens/blues to dis and about 10~15 sticks. Only downside people need to come to you to take the sticks off of you if you leave the instance they will dissappear. why do people buy? mojo minipet. besides that it can spawn vendors wich sell a cache wich can contain rare/epic recipes or money bags wich contain about 15g

edit: do that on a ICC decked prot palla but can easily be done in heroic/badge gear. also the dragonhawk boss is soloable

I was a tad bit disappointed with this guide. I got the heroism card, the tank trinket from H-AN, a couple daggers from the heroic 5-man icc instances (since I'm a combat rogue), lifewarded them bad boys, and changed my 2nd spec to this.

You do need engineering to get the pulls displayed in the video, as he's using saronite bombs which have 10 yard radius and a long throwing range so he's able to grab 2 groups at a time with it. Non engineers can use ez throw dynamite, but it has a 3 yard radius and thus you might as well just throw a dagger. I did some searching and the only 10 yard radius explosives without engineering is stratholm holy water, so I went and farmed me a dozen. However, the throwing range on those is literally 2-3 yards from where you're at, so that's pointless as well. All this means is, instead of 3 pulling trash in kara, it becomes 5 pulls. No biggy.

My major disappointment with this lies in the fact that it claims 500g without professions, just off of trash. The average amount I got after 3 attempts was 72 gold, and thats with vendoring greens and grays. However I do have professions, so I tried disenchanting the crap and selling on the AH. This provided better amounts but nowhere near the 800-1k gold it claims, more like 300 and the server I play on has a retarded AH where everything is expensive.

For starters it claims that grays and greens drop off every other mob. A more realistic average would be one out of every 10 mobs. Second the turning cloth into greens and then disenchanting for mats to sell is also crap. Average cloth off those pulls is 3-4 stacks. That barely makes enough bolts for anything, and it's probably better just turned into bandages and sold for 6g.

What I did find profitable is what's discarded in the video. Heroic Ramparts. While it only pulls 1 boss and half the trash in the entire instance, it takes 2 minutes, with an outcome of 40-50g average just by vendoring. To disenchant and sell mats, it raises to 180g-200g. Reason this is more profitable is simply the time required. I can clear half of ramparts in a single pull, loot, and reset 5 times in an hour. So that's about 1k an hour with professions, you don't need engineering to do the pull (just buy ez thro dynamite), and you get at least five blues to disenchant which sells for a lot more than just dust\essences you get in kara greens.

So in closing, not a complete waste, but kara is pointless.

Pretty good way of making some extra coin. I made around 770g p/hr doing this. I'm going to run this with a priest buddy here later on. I'll report after that. All in all nice guide.

The bridge directly above you at the beginning, there's a pat. Just throw the dynamite up there, same result as the way it's done in the video.
