Gold tip with the upcoming Patch!

Hello again lads!

The upcoming patch notes has been released on ************.com, and contains something very interesting.

Direct quote from the notes:

"Frozo the Renowned has moved into the Dalaran Magus Commerce Exchange and will be trading your Frozen Orbs for various other trade goods."

This indicates that Frozen orbs will be valuable even though we do not know what items he will be selling, yet.
I therefore recommend you start stockpiling while the prices are still low (10g on my server) usually this is a neat trick to make huge amounts of gold. And my spider sense tells me that this could be another gold mine.

Note obviously, that it is still not the final patch notes and that it could end up with you loosing gold. Buut, whats the fun in watching someone else harvest all the goods, so go crazy while you can!

(Note that i will still only post responses in my topic through edits to limit my posts. I am attempting to acquire as many rep cookies as posibble, with as few posts as posibble.)

I sure hope that this will bring you alot of gold. I have been acquiring huge amounts of gold through patch notes before (Titanium ores, anyone?). Anyways, happy hunting!

Great idea, i missed that in the patch notes somehow. The only problem is that we dont know what we would be getting yet. ill throw about a 1k at it though and hope for the best

I bought 40. Might have some CODs pending.

I was buying them in trade and asking for COD, then this other dude shows up and starts "overcutting" me until i couldn't afford it anymore, then whenever he said something in trade I said that you should hold on to your frozen orbs because they might be worth a lot of money in the next update lol. He was like "you're such a douche"..

For those curious, here are the items for which you can trade your Frozen Orbs to Frozo. These each cost 1 Frozen Orb unless noted otherwise in parentheses:

Crusader Orb (6)
Runed Orb (4)
Eternal Fire
Eternal Earth
Eternal Water
Eternal Air
Eternal Life
Eternal Shadow
Frost Lotus
Pattern: Frosty Flying Carpet [Tailors Only] (6)

Well, doesn't sound that awesome. But i wonder wtf Blizzard is thinking, 1 Frozen Orb for 1 Eternal somewhat? They realize these Orbs cost 10 Emblems and drop 1 time per heroic?

On my server Frost Lotus sells for 50-60g, which means I would make a 500-600% profit. How's that not awesome? :P

The prices of Frost Lotus will ofcourse decrease with the coming of this patch.

Naturally yes as they are going for 75g each now and when 3.3.3 hits and all those stockpiled orbs gets cashed in for lotus, the price will drop due to flooded market.

However if the drop rate remains the same from herb gathering, and people don't keep farming heroics for orbs, the supply will dwindle eventually and the price will go back up. Not as high as before but maybe only about 1/2 to 2/3 of the pre-333 patch price.

Stockpile now, sell a few on AH if you're on right after server gets up. After that'd I'd wait a few days to a week before trying to make profit off stockpiled goods.

Dont be silly. The prices will drop on all of those, dont you understand that? The eternals will drop to like some gold each. Dont stack up on Frozen Orb's, its a bad investion.
