Sindragosa, frost protection, profit ($$)

Hello!
Just a short tip here, that you probably could work out on your own, but if you're reading this post chances are you still need a bit of an enlightment, so let's get down to it:

In the new wing of Icecrown Citadel, there's going to be an encounter with Arthas' little pet, called Sindragosa, which will strongly remind you of Sapphiron.
PTR reports give you a bit of an insight about the fight.
It will be heavy on raid damage, dealt as a frost damage aura (much like Sapphiron), and also, there will be an ice block mechanic, and frost bombs, just like Sapphiron's. The addiotion is, the person isnide the ice block will take heavy frost damage, and the raid needs to free him.

Summing up, there's a constant area frost damage, and a kind of a burst frost damage, so to all of you gold-makers comes the conclusion of:

Mighty Frost Protection Potion

If you don't have the recepie, it drops from Damned Apothecary
Not much to explain here, you can expect a rise in the reagent's price.
Also, since one will need >MOTES< of fire, to make this potion, there's a new chance to play the Eternal - to - mote scam, which consists of buying the eternal, shattering it, then puting on 2 stacks of Crystallized Fire overpriced.

You can also consider crafting Frost resistance gear, but the numbers are still being adjusted, so you don't know wheter it will be needed or not.

Given previous encounters in ICC i don't think 6k Damage absorbed is really that use-full but if it sells it sells.

Just think about Anub'arak HC, if you ever done it, how useful it was.

Sounds like a good idea. Took me around 40 mins of farming but I came out with 100g just from the mob drops. Good luck to everyone else.

Lesser flask of resistance is a good way to go. Tanks will be using that if they know what's best for them (Used that + frost resist fur + ony25 ring = 280 FR with buffs). Tanks take ALOT less damage with a flask of resistance than a 6k pot.

Also guilds farming frost prot potions for anub togc25, would have alchys make it in the guild. not ah it >.>

Sindragosa is a joke even without Frost Resist -- only the tank(s) need any reasonable amount. Gift of the Wild does the job for the remainder of the raid.

It's not heroic Anub where penetrating cold would pop you; lazy heals are all you need.
