Make Lots of Gold, Carry People to 1800 Ratings

At the end of the season there are lots of people out there that don't have there 1800 weapons and really want them. I have carried quite a handful of players to 1800 ratings and charged them 2k gold each (Some poeple even gave me more, because they felt guilty of losing so many games, someone payed me 5k gold because of this and I helped him out with his class and what to do, etc).

This won't work as well on different servers, esp if your battlegroup is hard but on mine and a lot of other servers there is few good players, and the good players already have partners so it is really hard for some people to get 1800 rating.

Also this won't work as good with some classes compared to others. I personally play a mage and I haven't had any problems with any partners at all. Some of them where more difficult then others but we got there eventually. Sometimes it can be very hard.

Tips
1) Charge people each rating gap, this well prevent you from being scammed and if the other person is to bad to hit 1800 with, atleast you got some gold out of it. I usually charge people 500g upfront, then 1k - 1,500 I charge another 500g, if they see you are a good player they well pay to keep you playing with them. Then I charge another 500g at 1700, and then another at 1800. (If they have a team of there own, I still like to get away with asking for full price even if it is around 1700 or so, they know that if they don't play with a good partner there rating well just tank). You can also get away with selling 1k rated teams (either your alts or just a friends team)
2) Communicate to them over vent or skype during the games and call out a lot of the stuff you do. I know a couple people that I have carried where surprised that I called things such as silences, cc, etc and I came off as a good player to them.
3) Don't procrastinate, If you can just say you can only fit in 5 or so games and get them over with and then take a break from wow, or do what you need to do. Playing with some of these "scrubs" can be stressful, you don't want to come off like your avoiding them.
4) Recruit more people for you to help carry and turn it into some sort of a business. I made a thread on my server about carrying people to 1800, and I suggested to every player that I carried to leave a comment on this thread.

One last tip that well probably avoid you getting scammed is be team leader of the team when your on it, and when your about to hit 1800 have this player go to a different major city where they can't buy arena weapons / gear, when you hit 1800 and you run to them in org and they won't pay you, they think they scammed you but your team leader and just boot them if they don't pay. I had to learn this the hard way when I first started carrying people.

Boosting peoples ratings is a really nice idea and more people really need to consider doing it for gold compared to doing dailys or farming.

I'll try and reword some of it later, it's late (7 in the morning, no sleep). But I usually want 500g up front because several things can go wrong in the process of getting them to 1800, some people don't have that much time to play, or they can easily get a friend to help them to 1800 ratings for free and they won't think twice before stop doing games with you. Some people I have done games with don't even have a 1k rated team from either team hopping or what ever and I have gotten away having people pay 500g for the team (along with the rest of the 2k) that is what I was trying to say =P

I like the idea and i have friends who do that.. specially on PVE realms you always got people who have some pvp desires and are ready to pay for it. But one thing is sure lame, you got to be a certain class.. i mean.. i cant boost people on my rogue, if i was a pally or a discpriest would be way easier. Because most of the people who boost are the 1 more important class in the team, like for example the healer.

Chances are if you aren't expieranced in arena you well not be able to carry people to 1800 ratings (Unless your a DK / warrior and just got the byntroll)

You can carry people as a rogue, rather any class really. All you need to realize is the key to this game. It's an really easy game.
