Slikker's Gatherbuddy Gold Tips & Tricks.

Hello Everybody, In the short time i have on gatherbuddy (6 days) i have learned to love it, since then i've done 3 overnight bots (12+ hours) and several (about 6)short-term bots (less then 4 hours) and i have accumulated over 4.3k gold. (Plus about 1.3k I used to buy a guild bank tab), I am currently just a miner but will look into herbing later one in the game for me,At this point I still only have a 150% flying mount but we can deal with that. To get to my Success of about 1k-2.5k gold every night I followed a set of guidelines.

Slikker Says Step 1: Auction House is a big No-No for anyone thats botting. If you post to much on it you will eventually get caught or even just reported cause peopel will want to know how you got so many stacks.

Slikker Says Step 2: Sell Big or Sell Nothing, Dont Sell to anyone unless you have at least 15 stacks or 250g worth of ores (or herbs if you herb)

Slikker Says Step 3: CLIENTS- Sell directly to only 1-3 people and have a preset amount of gold per stack, DO NOT TELL THEM YOUR A BIG FARMER, Just tell them you have been gather up for a couple of weeks to months depending on how many stacks you got, or even better just dont say anything.

Slikker Says Step 4: **OPTIONAL** Before you do Step 5 I always make sure to use my titansteel cooldown, the titansteel bar can be keep or sold for a quick profit.

Slikker Says Step 5: **OPTIONAL** I always prospect all the titanium I get, i dont have a jewelcrafter so i just do 2-3 stacks at a time, make sure you know there not screwing you over by - 1. Always be in a party with them so you see what they prospect. 2. I personally like to write it down in a notepad so i know if he's trying to steal some gems or something.

Slikker Says Step 6: If you are often asking for Jewelcrafters/Enchanters or so on to do something to any of your mats, ask if they will be willing to help you every couple of days, but remember to tip big if they do, i say about 10g per stack of ore.

Slikker Says Step 7: If you decide to sell your eternals at some point, sell them in stacks of 10 and 20 and preferably through trade chat not AH.

Slikker Says Step 8: If you bot overnight I always like to have WoW Sound off but I had my brother somehow set it to play a high pitched sound (mosquito or some crap) that will wake me up if it crashes or closes - if it does you just read the Gatherbuddy Logs and restart it.

    thats all folks. Happy Gathering.

This is Posted on Gatherbuddy forums and MMOWNED. I give no rights for this to be reposted in any way shape or form on any other forum as these are the only two forums that are actually good.

I will be expanding this in many ways and will be adding an average saronite/titanium per hour and gold per hour spreadsheet later on.
What seems to be the problem officer?? ... hic

I was just calculating a bit - You've had 3 bots going for 12+ hours every day 6 days in a row.
    This is 12*3*6 = 216 botting hours.

If we divide the amount of gold you've gotten by how many hours you've botted we get the gold income per hour.

    4300 +1300 (guildbank tab) / 216 = 25,92

There must be something wrong here, unless you were farming copper ore this doesn't seem correct, its like 2 stacks of saronite on my server.

    Other than that, good guide

No offense to you, the creators of GB or anyone using it, but that really isn't impressive.

A bot that costs $200 for a lifetime membership, vs Pocket Gnome that is free, if you're going to write a guide to promote it you should really have some better stats.

Again, this isn't a flame, just pointing out that you might want to:
    a) get some more experience with the bot before writing a guide for it, and
    b) ask around for better profiles for it to help boost your income

On the plus side, some good tips about mass selling of mats on one toon, but an easy way around this is make multiple bank alts and post your items on different toons

Looking forward to seeing more, am curious in trying out GB+WI

lol, think of it this way, theres a mode where you can set it to run to the gbank when the bag are full (few flaws, but it works XD) and it goes back to farming, set it up to logout after about 16 hours of farming, and wallah! like i said, i have 3 perma. herb/ore buyers, im set on my server :P

I use a Mac to bot on yeah, I find it way more stable and prefer it over my PC.

But we're not here to discuss PCs, I was talking about why I'd use GB over other free bots. I/m not knocking it, hell if you can convince me how it's better I'll buy a copy now
