Warlock pvp guide.

Warlock pvp is very complex and strategic. I will be going over affliction locks because this patch has pretty much made destruction dead.
Afflic locks greatest power is getting dots rolling on every target while using every shadow trance proc and searing pain or life draining while dots are on everyone.
Basics: Some basics are when your fighting melee cleaves always use demon armor the +healing and more armor always help your healer to keep you alive. Portal placement is very key. I don't have any videos as of now but if you want some i can show you and ill make a video. Always yous a felhunter have a devour macro for everyone on your team and your enemy. Have focus fear focus corruption focus curse of agony focus banish focus death coil. I'm probably missing a few but message me if u need some more help on macros.
Intermediate: When you are facing a druid and u see that innervate go off you gotta spam devour that druid i know its on 8 second cool down but you gotta mash that like no other. or u see a lock cast Fel domination devour asap. Some other things if you are playing affliction you gotta rotate your fears accordingly. if you have dr on your fears on both enemy your doing to much if you never have dr on 1 target your doing to little. one thing that helps me is i fear player 1 for full duration he trinkets i don't automatically put him back in a fear if we are about to kill something i blanket silence roll dots then fear by doing this your giving your dr some cool down time i believe its 21 seconds till you start totally fresh and have full duration up again. but by doing this u cast fear wait for the 5 sec duration to be up then u switch to the other target (these are great times for a switch cause u can lock a dps out of a game for about 17 seconds just with fear.

Destruction is still better than affliction for anything but certain 2's comps(Lock/Hpal and Lock/Druid).

Also, I didn't even bother reading the rest of it. The layout is just a block of text, and nobody wants to read a block of text. I think there are only 4 or 5 periods in your whole post.

Don't mean to be mean, but there was very little effort put into this.

You cant dispel Fel Domination, You should only use Demon Armor if you are focused, otherwise you just lose damage.

DR reset timer is 16 seconds.

Only use Drain Life/Shadowbolt if opponent doesnt have school lockout interrupt or after you have succesfully fakecasted.

Multidotting only works best against Holy Palas. In 2s mostly useless unless the healer is paladin, also, it 1 corruption tick on healer breaks fear.

The burst is still enough to nuke a healer, and there is always immo -shadowfury combo that makes your oponent CC no matter what , so ill still say Destro is better.

He is right that Affliction is very strong now and many comps (besides wizard cleaves) yet even in some wizard cleaves affliction still is prefered. Yet what was said earlier makes me believe this guy either...

A) Doesn't know much about warlocks because of DR timers, fel dom and how easy fear breaks now.

B) He took this guide from a very old website.

A destro lock can be good but it all depends on what kind of environment you are in. Destro is good for taking on the bosses in AV, or WG. You need to make sure you surprise the enemy because destro is no where near as effective as afflic for moving around. Basically Death coil/fear, burn them down GG

Afflic is the way to go (at least for me) because of the fact that you can move around a lot. Spam dots, life tap, gg. I'm top of every BG with afflic.

This guide unfortunately lacks organization and any real strategies

In this patch i went Affliction coz loads of people told me it was best for PvP... and when i went Affliction i couldnt kill any thing... i go back destro and i can kill like... any class 1 v 1 (Even rogues which im told are ment to be warlocks anti class)

I agree on this point really, very difficult to read, can't confirm the guide though, not put my hands in pvp since resilience, just tried some in TBC...
