[Gold Guide] Wintergrasp Gold Route

Hello MMOWNED, In World of Warcraft. First, I would like to tell you a little about it. The Wintergrasp route of mine, you need a mining skill of 450. I have got this map from a chinese Farmer that does this for a living. . . mining. He usually can get 500g/hour because he has done this route for about a year ( I could NEVER do that ). Due to mining Titanium Ore. On my server, Dunemaul, Titanium Ore Sells for about 250 gold a stack. I usually get a stack in an hour or so. So about 250g/hour is not too bad, but it’s a promising 250g, some grinding places, are dependent on what drops, an a titanium node, titanium ore WILL drop. I know there not may always be titanium ore there, but with my route, there is. I will add 2 routes. One with a mix of titanium and saronite, one with more saronite then titanium. Here is the map, sorry for my crappy paint skills.




Basically, you want to follow whichever route, AT POINT 1, you want to go between the 2 peaks, directly south of shadowsight tower, AT POINT 2, you want to go into Icecrown on the upper edge.
AT POINT 3, You can go south a little if you want, theres a low chace of titanium to be there. AT POINT 4 Go up into Icecrown, just until you get to the tall peak, then turn back around and work your way along that edge again.

I'll test your route and see how much i get after an hour of farming.

Alright! But remember, the gold will increase as you know where the nodes are and which spawns are there and which spawns aren't when others are. But once you memorize the route, you should be set!

Good effort I guess (bad wall of text at the top though).

But the map is kinda obvious for any miner who understands how nodes spawn: Look for the rocks. Following cliff edges (like any zone) is a common tactic.
And then looking for the raised rocky areas not on the edges of the map is a secondary method. Combine the two, find the fastest, most profitable route and you're done.

It's a decent map, but too simplified.

Imo, it's better to just get:
Gatherer addon for World of Warcraft
And then add the WoWHead Database: GathererDB WoWHead : WoWInterface Downloads : Norganna's AddOns

Combine these 2 and you'll get a map with almost every node location ever recorded.

Then if you want to setup a maximazing route, make use of:
Routes : WoWInterface Downloads : Map Mods, coords/compasses

It can make in-game routes on your map/minimap by following location points set by Gatherer (and other addonds) and you can set how it sets up the routes.

By using those tools, you'll get a more accurate map/route setup than a simple Paint job.

But in the end, the picture is for people who are new to WG, and don't know the spawn points yet. Most miners have been there for awhile and know where things spawn.

Thank you for the post . . . +rep . . . but yah, I tried to make it simple for those new to mining, and looking for a new route, I have used the addon routes, never really liked it, makes routes that are not needed, and it zig-zags back and fourth. But yes, Gatherer is where it's at!
