Hmm, are there some recipes available to alliance but not to horde? If so, I'd like to stock up on them as I might faction change.
85 Undead Mage, 85 Dwarf Shaman, 85 Tauren Druid, 80 Night Elf Hunter, 81 Orc Warrior, 70 Undead Priest. EU.
Just made me really rich.
Gave me an idea to sell TBC items like arcanite and addamantite rods. 70-90g each on my server. Makes a killing.
So whats up with the hord V ?
Thanks for the great guide! This does not work very well on my server however I'm afraid!
A few other people are doing this as well and are undercutting everything like crazy, I've tried selling items at different times etc. but usually I keep them up at all times but still cant get things sold even when I'm the only one selling the item.
Anyways, +Rep for a great and worked trough guide![]()
Ok so after seeing this guide for a while (and giving rep and weldones etc when they were due) I finally decided to actually try it.
I picked up 58 items after doing the whole route (I didn't pick up of the limited supply non-trainable items such as Strang Dust or Blasting Powder or Adquadynamic Fishing Attractors etc, only patterns, recipes, formulas and then a few herb bags and parrots.
Within about an hour I sold 4 items which already made be back about the same amount of money I spent so it definitely works. Now it is just a decision on whether I want to continue doing it.
On the downside it is pretty boring way to farm and I feel like I could be doing more profitable farming sessions.
On the plus side, it is a nice lazy way to farm and I get to browse forums, watch videos and chat to guildies with ease.
So yeah it is probably something I will end up doing every few days or so.
I actually created an Excel Spreadsheet where I recorded all the items that I bought from the vendors and at how much I bought them for.
Then over the new few weeks I am going to fill the spread sheet in with extra items that weren't there when I did my first route, as well as how much I sell the items for each time.
So say after 5 sales of an item I then tally up the average income and figure out what my average profit is per item. I am also recording how QUICKLY it takes me to sell an item, to help me get an idea of which items are high in demand and which aren't worth my time.
The problem with my server is that, while not highly populous, seems to have a lot of people doing this, and a lot of retards as well. If the tuxedo pattern is selling for 30g, somebody will post one for 10g. It takes me several weeks to sell everything because of idiots massively undercutting me.
This works on realms where people dont know about this. Luckly, i can do it very well on my realm
Very nice guide Everground Limited Supply items sell for alot on my server so this is really helpfull.
I think i should add that, with the luner festival going on you can teleport to moonglade and back from any city. There is a vender at nighthaven that sells Formula: Runed Arcanite Rod which I've seen go for up to 80 gold the reason being that enchanters need it in order to level up there skill.
Nice guide. Rep
bump for an awesome thread.
wow i f%^$ing love you
this has made me gain so much extra dorra
Good guide, but as most have said, I presume it depends on server and faction entirely. I tried this and the only thing sold on the AH was the green item I got from killing a random mob on the way out of boredom :/
Waitin' on horde video![]()
Can't wait for the Horde version! Great job on the guide. +Rep
