Yes it is horrible to get banned but everything you read online should be taken with precaution.

The original poster truly did have good intentions, and his guide really helped many people for the time that it was working.

If you don't agree with what you did then you really should either PM him or contact an admin or mod instead of ranting about in his thread and threatening to sue him.
