How To Downpatch Your WoW

Hey!

Heres a Simple Guide on How to Downpatch Your WoW to version 3.0.1 or higher.

Step 1:
First go into your WoW Folder, Go under Data.
There will be some MPQ files, find the one named patch.mpq Delete it.


Step 2:
Now choose the Repair.exe file under the main folder, World of warcraft.
Choose "Check files only".
Click ok on that popup and wait for about half an hour while it loads through the 14 steps.


Step 3:
Now Launch the Launcher and it will patch you up to whatever you like!
Beware!When the Patching Update Text on the screen says WoW 3.0.9 your current version IS 3.0.9, its not upgrading from 3.0.8 to 3.0.9!(It only happens sometimes but re-launch the launcher to see the current version at the top of the window!)

It's very much a repost. And yes, you shouldn't ask for rep, but it's not common sense. People misunderstand the meaning of those words far too often, this is merely something important to know.

Anyhow, I give you a cookie for atleast trying and for a nice written guide, the way you could beat all other guides is to add pictures, like "Here's the MPQ, here's the repair tool, during the process it should look like this..." etc
