    Complete Merrymaker Guide [Alliance Version]

This Guide is the Alliance Version of the 9 Days Old Guide from "Evilbuffy" because there were some requests for an Alliance Version but its made by me and a few parts are from older Threads (2008 etc).

Feast of Winter Veil Starts on December 15 (6:00) and last until January 2 (6:00)

    Merrymaker

    Requirements:
For Merrymaker there are some Requirements, you have to be at least Level 70 and you need Cooking at least on 325 to cook the recipes. Pilgrims Bounty was amazing to get the Cooking Skill up so if you done it at Pilgrims Bounty then youre ready for this!

I used this Guide for Cooking:
WoW Cooking Guide 1-450 | World of Warcraft Cooking Guide

    1. Items needed for Achievements:
7x Small Egg - You can get them in Westfall but also other Birdies, or you can buy them at the Auction House but i can tell you that they are not cheap during the Event.
2x Ice Cold Milk - You can buy them from nearly all Inns for a few silvers.
1x Red Winter Clothes - You need to find a Tailor who got this Recipe. You need: 20 x Runecloth, 3 x Woolen Cloth, 2x Red dye, 1x Rune Thread the ones in Red are buyable from the Tailor Vendor!
1x Winter Boots - You need a Leatherworker for this and 1 x Copper bar, 4 x Rugged leather, 1x Rune thread and 1x Bolt of Woolen Cloth.

    Getting ready for the Achievements:
Just like some other World Achievements there are things you get from NPC's through the whole Event (Love is in the Air; Hallows End ; etc.) the Items for Merrymaker are given by NPC's named "Winter Revealers" , find one and /kiss them to get some of the following Items:
    1.Snowflake
    2.Mistletoe
    3.Fresh Holly

Like all other World Event you receive a 1 Hour Debuff if you get something.

    1.) Cooking!
Buy the Recipes from "Wulmort Jinglepocket" in Ironforge, in the last 2 years he is mostly covered by noobs who all wants to Buy the Recipe so try to Click him with Nameplates activated.
A.Gingerbread Cookie , Egg Nog and Hot Apple Cinder are the Recipes you have to buy!
    B. Accept all Quests (It should be three Greatfather Winter is Here! , Metzen the Reindeer and Stolen Winter Veil Treats
    C. Buy 7x Holiday Spice, 2x Holiday Spirit and 1x Sparkling Apple cinder from the 2 Vendor!

Now you can turn in the Quest Greatfather Winter is here! and accept the following Quest Treats for Greatfather Winter
Go to one of the nearby Braziers and cook 5x Gingerbread Cookie, 1 x Egg Nog, and 1 x Hot Apple Cinder. That will complete the achievement: The Winter Veil Gourmet! Now you can hand in Treats for Greatfather Winter.

You can now buy one Snowball and throw it at King Magni Bronzebeard which is on his Throne and get the easiest Achievement of all.

    2.) Save Metzen!
This is one of the easier Achievements. You are in Ironforge so take the Gryphon to Searing Gorge and head up to >>> 58,35 <<< where you can find Metzen , kill all NPC around and just speak to him, flying back and turning in the Quest rewards you with the Achievement.

Now fly to Southshore and ride to >>> 35,72 <<< where you can turn in your Quest Stolen Winter Veil Treats accept the following Quest and search for the Abominable Greench. This Quest really sucks because of the many People wanted doing this + Horde, so be patient and youll find him or Group which some other Peoples just use this Macro:

    /tar [nodead] Abominable Greench
    /cleartarget [dead]
/cast [exists] !YOUR INSTANT SPELL HERE!

And here is a Good Map of his Spawn Points: Maps - World of Warcraft

After you get him go back to Ironforge an turn it the Quest for the Greench, you get an following Quest which you can easily turn in in the same Location which gives you the Achievement: Simply Abominable

3.) Achievement: Frosty Shake and Tis the Season

You can only do these 2 Achievements 24 hours after you saved Metzen and turned in the Grinch Quest, because you will get the needed Items from Mail which is the Snowman Disguise and Graccus Homemade Meat Pie.

A.The Snowman Disguise part is easy, go to Dalaran and ask in Trade Channel or an friend if he could use his Disuise too , then simply target him and type /dance.

    B. For the Tis the Season Achievement you need 3 Pieces of the Cloth, 2 of them are craftable, the 3 isnt. You have to go to the Nexus in Normal Mode (Heroic can drop it too but it is farmable in Normal Mode) and Kill Grand Magus Telestra which drops the Item for 100% some classes could easily Solo it. Get the 3 Item and Equip them all, eat some of Graccus Meatpie and you get your Achievement.

4.) Ogril'a Part (This is the Hardest)

This is the hardest or the easiest Achievement, but it depends of you progress with the Ogres , meaned are the ones from TBC , if you have done all the Dailys just go to 27,52 in Blades Edge Mountains and do the Daily Bomb them Again! While your Mount is Disguised with an Fresh Holly.

If you didn't get the Ogri'la Daily you need to do a few Quests starting from an Ogre called Grok who is at 64, 68 in Shattrath. He gives the Quest: Mog'dorg the Wizened, just talk to Mogdorg the Wizened at 55,44 in Blade's Edge Mountains. You need to kill some elites, and one of the Quests requires a group of 5 characters. Once you have done that set of quests you need to take on quest: Ogre Heaven which leads onto the Ogri'la quests more fully. It's quite a serious chain, but you can do the lot in an hour!

5.) Let it Snow and Bro's before Ho Ho Ho's

For Let it Snow you have to Use the Snowflake on some Class/Race Combinations:

Orc Death Knight ; Human Warrior ; Night Elf Druid ;Troll Hunter
Tauren Shaman ; Gnome Mage ; Blood elf Warlock ; Dwarf Paladin
    Undead Rogue ; Draenei Priest

For Bro's before Ho Ho Ho's you have to fly really long and its problably the booring part.

1.Go to Goldshire. Find Brother Wilhelm in the Blacksmith, and use the Mistletoe on him.
2.Ride to Stormwind Cathedral and use the Mistletoe on Brother Kristoff in the square.
3.Inside the Cathedral, Brother Benjamin is on the right. Mistletoe him.
4.Brother Cassius is in the right room.
    5. Brother Crowley is at the entrance of one of the Catacombs.
    6. Before leaving the cathedral, mistletoe Brother Joshua too.
7.Fly to the Rebel camp in Stranglethorn Vale, and mistletoe Brother Nimetz who is in the camp.
8.Fly to Booty Bay and use the boat to Ratchet. Then fly to Theramore. Brother Karan is at the castle to the north east. He's outside with all the soldiers.
9.Lastly, fly to Desolace. In the inn is Brother Anton. The last guy we need.

6.) With a Little Helper from My Friends

This one is really Easy, in the middle of Dalaran or outside Ironforge OR in Stormwind near the Flightmaster are Machines from the Hollyday which transform you into a Gnome. As a Gnome you have to earn 50 Honorable Kills ( Not Killing Blows!) you can do this easily in an Wintergrasp or an Alterac Valley if youre keeping yourself Alive, there are 2 Rules for the Disguise:

    1. Dying will cancel the Buff, so DONT DIE!
    2. Shapeshifting will Cancel the Buff (Druids; Shamans)

After 50 Kills you get this Achievement.

    7. Final Part, Christmas!

Just Wait until its Christmas and the Gifts under the Tree from Greatfather Winter become available, and loot one of them rewards you with the Achievement: He Knows If You've Been Naughty
which rewards you too whith the Merrymaker Achievement!

Grats to your new Title, i hope this Guide helps alot for getting it!
In 2009 the Achievement for Crashin-Trashin Racer's has been removed btw. This will happen in Patch 3.3!

You no longer need 5 characters for none of quests. The summoning circle quest has been changed - now it requires only one character standing in any of fire circles. And all the quests are easily soloable - took me 'bout 30-45 minutes doing all as enh shammy.

Good guide though. Would use it if I weren't Horde ;P

The initial Ogri'la quest chain, while still available in the game, is no longer required to unlock the Ogri'la dailies. I just confirmed this with my main who hadn't started the Ogri'la quest chain like I did make him after lich king did come out. If you have a character without any previous Ogri'la rep, all you'll need to to do is run them to Ogri'la (28,57) in Blade's Edge and get started. 3 normal quests and later they send you to the sky guys and bam daily!
