ICC rep solo farm (rogues and night elves only)

Now many of you might already know how to pull this off but basically you can kill the first 2 mobs in the instance 5 times every hour and you can do this solo. While it doesn't really give you rep that fast it'll speed up the grind and it's good if you're missing a very little rep from the next ring.

I have not tried to do this as a night elf but I think I can pretty safely say it should work.

So what you do is:

1. Run into the instance in a raid with someone but it's best to enter alone.
2. Stealth at the entrance and go forward to the NPCs
3. Wait till the mobs that automatically run to the NPCs to be killed
4. Go towards the first two mobs and use hand rocket / thrown / some ranged ability to pull them and sprint back towards the entrance with the mobs following you
5. You need to pull the mobs far enough so that they run past the NPCs that are supposed to kill them and then vanish/shadowmeld. Now the mobs should run and attack the NPCs with 900k+ hp and start getting killed.
6. Now you can just use your thrown weapon to damage the mobs a bit while they're tanked and damaged by the guards. Just make sure you don't pull aggro, you don't need to do a lot of damage and you still get the rep.

This might take a few tries to get it done perfectly.

I haven't done ICC myself yet, but i've heard for a full trash clean before first boss, you net 900 reputation. So maybe 20 rep per mob? Vanish has 2 min cooldown. You need 3000 rep to get to friendly.

3000(rep)Divided by the amount of rep it gives (20) would be 150.
That means you have to kill 300 mobs. So 150x 2 = 300 min of killing trash in ICC. That's like...5 hours of trash mob grinding.

It's 8:50 in the morning forgive me if i'm wrong, BUT is this really worth it?

As human the mobs give 16-17 per kill and no I wouldn't suggest getting thousands of rep with this to get your ring but if you're on a trash farm run and end up missing a few hundreds of rep for your next ring upgrade, this is a way to get it done faster, possibly.

you can get the first 2 killed by the npcs because you enter combat with them and so youre linked when you tag the mobs. Youll notice you "enter combat" just standing there with the npcs....thats the time to tag them and you can run out of the raid then run back in and theyll be fighting the npcs. You will get the rep.

You can also get the rep just for tagging them with some damage then dying and waiting for the npcs to kill them. Naked here obviously helps.

Once the event starts tho, you cannot get the npcs to kill anymore. I tried to figure out a way to pull the 3 that pat just inside the room as well as the 2 at the door but nothing confirmed yet tht doesnt require a friend.

OK got it down on my prot pally only at this stage - timing is essential

1. Strip Naked except for your shield
2. Wait by the npcs til you get into combat and they engage one of the mobs that run out
3. Run up and aim for the mobs that pat back and forth just inside the room
4. Bubble just before you get hit by aggroing the 2 mobs at the entrance
5. Hit the 3 mobs inside with avengers shield and consecrate to ensure all mobs get tagged
6. Bolt like a mofo to the npcs and either die at this stage or try to make it out of the raid
7. If you die (I didnt risk flying back) wait til the npcs kill the mobs watch ur rep go up by 75
8. Fly back loot, reset the raid, rinse repeat til lockout

You should get 375 rep total after 5 resets approx 45-50mins, come back and repeat when ur bored.
It can be situational with the npcs aggroing and killing the mobs, but its something from nothing.

Using the correct ones gave a bunch of results, 2 containing a guide for farming rep with raid and one was the same as your, just a lot more detailed.
