HOWTO: Get the new Corehound Pup pet!

So a few of you have probably seen the corehound pet around as it has been in the game files since 3.2.2 ptr but yet there has not been an explination on how to obtain this pet. Today 3.3 Launched on US servers and alot of pepole have been reciving the pet in the mail but there has been alot of confusion as only a few pepole have recived the item.

I am going to tell you how you can get a pet of your own.

Okay well basiclly the pet is given to anyone with a blizzard authenticator added to their world of warcraft account. Using a mobile authenticator will also grant you the pet, and unlike the normal authenticator the mobile one is free. You can get the mobile authenticator for the iphone/ipod touch and a number of regular cell phones, the list of suppourted phones and service providers can be found at battle.net along with instructions on how to attach the authenticator to your world of warcraft account.

This is to encourage players to use authenticator to reduce the ammount of players getting their accounts taken.

Please note that European players will not recive the pet until 3.3 has been deployed.

Don't bother doing this unless you plan on keeping the authenticator on your account.

Logged in 2 hours after doing this and none of my characters had the pet.

I'd like to see how you got the authenticator for free. From what I see, they charge your mobile company .99 cents (what a bank breaker right?) so it'll come up on the next bill.

I didn't know that since ive only used the mobile authenticator for the iphone, but thanks for the heads up.
