This isnt true. The majority of data plans do not include tethering. If they find out you are using tethering without paying expect a big nasty phone bill at the end of the month.

I'm not saying your post is a bad one it's just a bit misleading.

I'm not arguing with you but just stating the facts which most of us have agreed here. Which in a way is contributing too as I'm trying to prevent someone having a massive phone bill.

I know you're trying to contribute, but it can be misleading when you said it is completely free. Would you rather have someone pm you in a month time saying that they rack up hundreds of dollars of bill because of your post?

Yeh, I do apologize for being so harshe and trying to force my thread threw here. I may have stated some of the facts in the thread a bit wrong, I will go change them right now because I understand that I have been unfair and stated theory's I thought were facts.

Some cell phone providers also allow you to just set up a wireless internet connection directly through your phone. For example the iphone plans usually come with an internet connection, so if you jailbreak your iphone there is a app that allows you to use the iphone to create a temporary wireless network connection.

    Nice necro post.
