[How To] Use MMoTotus to Help you Farm Netherwing Egg Rep

First off if you don't already have it, you need to download MMoTotus at the following link:

Second,

Go to your installation directory and open up the Harvest Names folder, once inside, right click herbs or mining (either or works, I use herbs) and open it with notepad and add the following line above the < /herblist> line:

<Herb>Netherwing Egg</Herb>

Save and exit.


Next, open up MMoTotus and attach the program to WoW and then click Map and MSN and then map (make sure "show nodes" is checked w/ update speed to max), it should bring up a map of the area with all items in your herblist and minelist files, INCLUDING Netherwing Eggs. You don't have to start the bot or have a profile to see them, and it saves quite a lot of time!

Edit: For those curious, yes you can make a profile to farm the eggs for you. You look kinda shady and its hard to make a decent profile without black listing a lot of eggs because the thing will try to go underground and if you dont null out the nethercite ore/plants then it will stop a lot for no reason. Either way, best of luck if you try to create a profile!

Never thought of this O_o need to try, and don't think the chance to get banned is high as I'm always at the comp and such, thanks!

I also don't think the chance to be banned is high, if at all. Assuming your not using a profile (but some people will) and your only using the map to help you find the eggs easier then the chance of them finding out seems abysmal (but still there). At least, from experience most bot bans are by player reports nowadays that there isn't a great chance for someone to report you when your actually at your keyboard farming eggs.

Now... if you were to make a profile and let it run for 12 hours a day, well, you might get whats coming to you.

Ye, exactly, I might farm 1-2 hours/day, split out during the day so maybe 2 laps everytime I play, and it's not injecting anything so.. we'll see : ) thanks.

yeah, its completely gone now. those blizzard lawyers had it taken down. Im sure in a few months or less there will be an equivalent bot though.

i farm with mmototus like 12+hrs a day and it's been like 4 months lol
just make sure the bot doesn't try to grab anything that's underground;
if you right-click on nodes when you open mmototus's map you can blacklist them so that the bot wont go after them
