Average gold maker NOT casino

Ok haven't contributed recently but had an idea that might work.

Instead of running you average joe casino why not do something a little bit more creditable. Casino's are in favour of the person running it so people get peeved and report and avoid them. What you need is a level playing field for everyone that still makes you some easy gold.

Simply this is what i came up with:

Each week there are 2 uk lotto draws. all we worry about is the bonus ball.

you sell each number 1-49 for 100g a time to guildies/trade people, you offer a jackpot of 4000g to whoever matches the bonus ball with their number. You keep the 900g as administration fee or whatever, people will be happy with a return of 4k gold for a one off 100g outlay and know they had an equal chance of winning as everyone else.

Drawbacks to this are people dont like handing out gold to strangers without having some kind of reassurance, so i figured making a guilbank specifically for this, inviting peoples alts/banks and using this to store their number (in officer notes) as well as keeping the gold there for all to see.

Once the draw is made you give the winner access to the guildbanks 4k gold and you keep the 900g then rinse and repeat for next draw

Im sure a lot of people will see this a bit of fun and be repeat customers allowing you a simple 1800g a week for nothing once its set up (more if you increase the buy in)

No, u need to sell all numbers prior to the draw. This is not intended to be used as a "scam" simply a little source of income. Once people trust that its legit they will play twice a week and keep playing.

it's a decent idea, but people will still be suspicious of a scam, and if they are suspicious, there's a chance of a ban. Anyways, Blizz outlawed casino's years ago. It's a use at your own risk kind of thing, and I wouldn't risk it on my own account.

Yes I've also been in guilds where they held this sort of thing it worked pretty well to help fund for raid supplies or enchants

No you can run casinos on US servers you are just not allowed to advertise them like the above people have said.
