That won't work. If you read the faq, you would know that the pet goes directly to your mailbox. There is no code involved. Good idea though.

did it yesterday, but the other way round, bought both the pets for 15k gold.
I asked a gm if it is allowed to to buy these codes for gold and he confirmed that it is allowed. the gm even observed that neither me nor my tradepartner got scammed.
