How to make sure your auctions sell

Hello

I've had a hard time on selling my flasks, gems, elixirs etc.
Items used for raiding. So i thought, every time a raid ends, people rush to the auction house to refill potions or to buy gems and enchants.

And alot of raids ends about 11:00 am server time.
So what i do, is i put my stuff on AH at 11:00, undercutting everybody else. Then i log off, and log on again the next day. Almost everything is sold. Because people are desperat to enchant and get their new gear ready so they can showoff.

So putting on stuff when raids end, will minimize the chance that somebody will have time enough to undercut your auctions before your auctions have sold.

It might be common sense, but common sense ain't as common as we think it is.

Tbh setting potions,elixirs and flasks would be more profitable when the raids are about to begin. So around 19.00 - 20.30 server time

Really smart, but often people buys Flask and buff food just before raid 18:00-21:00, atleast i do,

I usually sell my gems, glyphs and inks af around 23 - 01. By then people have gotten new gear and they need gems and stuff ^^

Why dont you just post the items for price you want at any time and wait.. you know, 24 or 48h timer is long enough

Hey Nialnees,

Posting for 24/48 hours increases the deposit you have to pay AND since the auctions last longer and will usually not be posted at an optimal buying time, you will surely get undercut.

I personally post auctions for 12 hours - don't think your likely to get a sale if it lasts longer than that.

Then it's not a repost... then all gold farming guides would be reposts, i.e. here you sell at that time to make them sell, in another you sell them at that time to make sure they sell.
In gold guides you kill that mob to get gold, in that guide you kill that mob..
You get the idea.
Oh, better to compare stuff related to mining, like a guide how to make cash with Blacksmithing, another one with JC, it include the same source (mining) and in this case it's selling stuff around one source, and the source here is (raiding).
