I've been skinning here for some time now and i find it pretty good so i figured i could share it with everyone at mmoownd

What you will be killing:
Hardknuckle Charger - NPC - World of Warcraft
Hardknuckle Forager - NPC - World of Warcraft

They both drop :
Swatch of Gorilla Hair - Item - World of Warcraft (Stacks in 5)
Hefty Barrel - Item - World of Warcraft
Chilled Meat - Item - World of Warcraft (Stacks in 20)
This sells for some gold.

Here's the place:


If you got herb as well there is like 10 herbs (spawning in that area as well)

I did a 1 hour run there (ended up in 40 min cuz of server shut down) just to show you what i got:

im kinda puzzled how this can make you 1200 gold per hour..
arctic fur is say 100 and a 1% drop rate. if you killed mobs at a rate of 1 every 30sec including looting, skinning and running between em, you would only get one per hour (average) heavy borean leather is around 10g oer stack, at 2 borean leather per mob, that 240 borean leather or 5 stacks of heavy - 50g. adding the other vendor trash, at say 100g per hour, thats still well short of 1200
even if you were killing em at one every 15sec, which would be almost impossible to sustain, due to distance between mobs, looting time and skinning time you would still only be looking at 500g per hour.

Just as a question Pred, did you even go to the spot? The mobs are easily pullable at around 4 to 7 at a time all along the route he posted.

Also selling Borean Leather in stacks of 20 for 10g seems to go well and go fast on my server, the Arctic Fur is 100g, the trash is about 100g...

Still wondering how you managed to space them at 1 every 30 seconds, or even 15 o.O

well u shouldn't drop out the greens and blues u will get killing like prob 200 of em every 30 min and as i got 7 artic fur in 40 min and 2 Boe blues and borean leather sells for 25g a stack on my server and heavy for about 50g a stack so i should prob have said it's server debendebal or how it's spelld

Yes I did go to the spot. Im not saying its impossible, but I couldnt see it.
The problem is just timing. Looting is about 1.5sec per mob, skinning is a 1.5sec cast, plus around 1sec to loot. thats 4sec per mob just in looting. then there's the time to kill the mobs.
The hardknuckle chargers have 11,000 health - at 2k dps (solo not raid) thats 5.5 sec to kill each. we are now up to 9.5 sec per mob.
running speed in game is around 6 yards per second. if each mob is 18 yrds apart thats 3 sec per mob we are now 12.5 sec.
so going by that maths, the absolute maximum number of mobs we can kill is 300 per hour. thats 3 arctic fur, 300 boran leather, 180 chilled meat, 285 gorilla hair.
now for gold. assuming 300 gold for fur (@100), 67.5g for the leather, 2.7g for the meat, 45g for the gorilla hair.
I make that just over 400g
I have used vendor for the leather and the meat, because in my experience you wont be able to sell that ammount at an AH.
in 12 hours you will have roughly 180 stacks of leather and 108 stacks of meat.
so kaitech, i do in fact know the area.
Still if you are skinning for cash this is one of the best areas, and thank skunken for posting for others.

No problem well i made 7300 gold over night boting (tho i had 4 Boe, 14 artic fur and dick loads of leather) and that was around 8 hours boting
