Little raider tips and tricks

Hey guys just thought I'd give a contribution attempt Here will be a list of tips and tricks as I come up with them listed together for your convenience. If you have any extras please post and I'll add them to the main post.

Warriors: The majority of dps warriors will have a lovely little talent called Armored to the teeth: Armored to the Teeth - Spell - World of Warcraft

With this talent in mind you can use it to gain even more amazing AP! This is good for those fights where you need just a bit more DPS .

The item you'll be using is Indescructable Potion: Indestructible Potion - Item - World of Warcraft this gives you an extra 2000 armor (remember the talent mentioned earlier!) Popping this before a fight gives you extra AP as well as because you used it before the fight you will be able to reapply it when it fades aswell.

Paladin macro mana trick.

Two elements of paladins here Avenging Wrath: Avenging Wrath - Spell - World of Warcraft and Divine Plea: Divine Plea - Spell - World of Warcraft

Using these two abilities together, Divine plea reduces your healing by 25% but regenerates 25% mana which is a lot! Avenging wrath increases healing by 20% which means combining the two results in only 5% healing loss for a lot of mana gain!

Mage frosty tricks

As I'm sure people know frost rocks There a few tricks that make them rock even more! Fingers of Frost: Fingers of Frost - Spell - World of Warcraft is definetly a very crafty talent. It gives you two procs of the ability however you can sneak in a 3rd spell that still gains the effect.

E.g. Frostbolt, Frostbolt, Deep freeze. This is a very awesome combo.

It can also be used to gain an ice lance at the end or anything you like

Full health poly trick: If your fighting against a warrior and he has you on quite low health, try to get a situation where he uses spell reflection and then you cast poly, this will reflect onto you and you will be put up to 100% health and can own that warrior!

General: Amazingly some people do not know this but when restocking flasks DO NOT BUY off the AH! Buy the mats off the AH and get a flask specced alchemist to craft them, it can get you a few nice extra flasks

Righteo this is all that comes to my mind currently but will certainly update as I get to it. If people have any areas they'd like some particular tricks or tips please post a reply to let me know.

I guess you mean that is only pointed at Holy paladins, as it doesn't matter for ret/prot.

there is no gain at all for using this strategy and your supposed to save avenging wrath for periods where bosses do more damage and divine plea for when bosses are doing less damage. i even know this and im a rogue

Most of these are common sense. i mean for warriors if they dont use armored to the teeth in a raiding spec they are pretty retarded. Where the pot might work for the extra armor it wont be more beneficial then a healing pot if needed or haste/crit pot.

continueing to paladins

divine plea is a 50% healing reduction wich still leaves u with a 30% reduction. Use Divine plea when u kno the tank or raid wont be hurt allot for a few seconds or ask the tank to use his cooldowns when the healing needs to picked up again simply make a macro to remove the divine plea. leave yer avenging wrath for the heavy nuke parts, u should combine avenging wrath with divine illumination for the 50% mana reduction.

as for mages raiding as frost is a definatly nono since u will be gimping youre own dmg and the raids. Its more beneficial to have atleast 1 fire/frostfire mage if u need the scorches and get the other mages go arcane and cast the buff on eachother wich gives 3% crit and another 3% when that person crits. so if u have 2+ mages u will have 6% extra crit

Wow people are way more critical at this than I expected. I'm not going to bother arguing with people and starting a flame warr but all of these tricks are useful to somebody. No need to be so harsh

Umm...the warrior part. If I counted it right that potion (3500 armor) gives about 100 ap.
Tho, its only 2mins buff but still gives more dps. Nice find, havent even been thinking the talents usefullnes like that
