~Arena Tips and Addons~
This may seem like common sense for most arena players, but it might also help you get better at noticing simple things that could get you the win.
Addons
Gladius
Gladius Download - Curse
This is a well known Addon used in arena. This addon is like Proximo (Used in Season 1 - Season 3/4)
Unlike Proximo with this addon it has many different features.
- Shows when Players are low on HP (30%)
- Shows when they have used their trinket, and when its up again
- Shows what spec / class / race they are
- Also Auto-Hovers over the Enemys instantly
Making them announce to your 2v2/3v3/5v5 partners will help out big time
Simply type in game /gladius ui, config or options
Once inside the Gladius interface you can choose what you want to announce.
For me, I choose to annnounce everything, and i make it set to raid warning.
Why raid warning? Because it will tell you and your partners that this guy just used his trinket or is about to die, and it will help out big time. Heres a picture of what it looks like.
This appears once you get into arena. If you set the announcments for raid warning, make sure you have Party leader. Otherwise it will not announce to the party, and it will spam your chat menu saying. "Your not the Party Leader"
Dr Tracker
Dr Tracker - Download - Curse
With this Addon you can see when your enemies spells are on a DR, and also
you can see when your CC's are able to give a full bloom.
Example - Cyclone goes from 6 seconds to 3 seconds to 1.5 seconds.
With this addon it will display when your target will not be immune anymore.
It will display a bar right over your guy like so.
Knowing when your Targets Cyclone, Fear , or next stun is immune / ready, will be able to tell you when to move away or when to get ready to CC that target.
Optional - Xperl Unit Frames.
X- Perl - Download - Curse
This is an optional pvp addon that you can use. In the picture up top, you can get a glimpse of what it looks like.
With this addon you can get a better view of your target, your health, and your targets target. It also tells you if you get agro. So say your fighting in 2v2, and the DPS is focusing your oponent and quickly switches to you. You can tell within a second that hes targetting you, and hes going to attack.
Heres a Picture to explain the Target/Targets Target
This Addon can be very confusing when setting it up. The setup window has a lot of options of what you want to do, and its based on what class you are, and what you are doing. I kept original casting bar, because you cant see it that well on your avatar picture. Also make your debuffs /Buffs smaller in the Party Tab, because of the fact it over laps 3 out of the 4 party members health, and can be rather annoying. Theres many different things you can choose from. The reason i like this addon is because of the fact you can get your health / targets health near the middle of the screen, where everything is going on
What it looks like together
(Also to move your health bar/party/target/targets target, simply open the Perl on the map, and you can free move them.)
~Tips~
Macros
Macros can help out big time in arena. Simply binding a spell with another spell could end a match very fast.
Example - Binding Cyclone with Nature Swiftness = Instant Cyclone.
Many times in arena I win because of the fact If I can get the healer in line of site and the DPS is going down really fast then we can get the win by simply getting a instant cyclone off. They will pop trinket and ill be ready for the next cyclone
This site right here has many different macros for all Class Macros and they also have a section for General Macros as well.

Binding
Binding is one of the biggest importantthings to do in arena.
Why?
Having your attack, healing spells, and other useful Macros/Trinkets binded, will help you see things better in the match. Having to look down constantly to click a spell will decrease your focus and in the end won't help you.
I'm sure all of us have Clicked when we were leveling or when we just hit the level cap, but you shouldn't be discouraged from Binding.
It may look hard at first, once you get the hang of it you will have more fun then constantly clicking make that awful noice =).
Common Binds People use are near the WASD Buttons. You can simply bind a spell by pressing ESC -> Keybindings.
If you are using the Arrow keys, this would be a good time to learn how to use the WASD keys.
No Body likes a keyboard turner.
If you have a Multiple Button mouse. You should bind important spells to your mouse, since your hand is always on it.
Like for instance - Mages Counter Spell - Rogue Kick - Druid Swiftmend
Go to Keybindings find where the Mouse Buttons are, and when it asks you to choose a key. Simply Press the button you want on your mouse.
Binding can be hard to learn at the begining, and the best way to learn is by starting off small. Bind 4 Buttons for the first day, and work your way up from there.
I hope I helped some of you <3
