Found a website that provide a good on-line profit spreadsheet for you alchemist out there. Not sure if this is a repost but it really helped me to determie how much profit I can make. All credit goes to the person who made this spreadsheet. Hope this will help some of you as well.

Hey all - I'm the creator of this tool and noticed a bunch of visits coming from this forum, so I thought I'd pop in and say "hi" and thank you for recommending the tool. I hope it is at least somewhat useful. I kinda fell a bit behind on the tool, as my alchemy activities have been mostly around Xmuting epic gems lately, but I will try to get an update to the site out this week sometime.

If any of you have any suggestions on how I can make the tool better or easier to use, please let me know. I would also be open to making something like this for other professions, but all of the other professions I'm familiar with don't seem as conducive to this kind of tool.

Ok. Not sure what anyone would gain by falsely claiming that they created a tool, but whatever.. If you don't believe me, feel free to send an email to the address on the website to confirm.

I'm not sure which profession I will do next, if any.. Alchemy just sorta works perfectly for this sort of thing. With inscription, for example, the cost to make glyphs varies by a negligible amount - essentially the cost of the paper - so you just make whatever is selling for the highest amount first. Plus there are literally hundreds of glyphs and the prices change really fast - nobody wants to enter all that crap in.

Alchemy is perfect because there are a limited number of interesting things you make with it, and the mats frequently overlap, so you have to do a bit of extra work to figure out what to make. I'm not sure if any other crafting professions have similar characteristics.
