    [3.3.5] Level 1 twink guide.

-Greetings mmowned users as you can see below my guide have 4 parts . It is fully written by me , i will also try to keep the guide up-to-date.
I hope you enjoy it. -

    1. Class and Race selection
    2. First steps
    3. Gearing up
    4. Consumables

    1. Class and Race selection

I would recomend you to start off with rogue twink Main reason is that you can train stealth at level one and use bow, thing that is not possible with paladins and in addition will be easier to pull nice amounds of damage against other higher level players ,rage as warrior is kinda anoying on level one.
Its up to you to chose what class you 'll fit more, this guide is focused to melee twinks and mostly on Rogue or Warrior with some small changes ,so if you are interested in a range dps or healer twink you won't find any information in this guide.

    About races;

    Horde Races :

a.Blood Elf for me is the best choise due to the awsome racial
Arcane Torrent - Spell - World of Warcraft
Can be proven very useful against casters
    b.Undead racial
Will of the Forsaken - Spell - World of Warcraft
Also very useful i would recommend you this if you don't like the look of Blood elfs

    Alliance Races :

    a. Dwarfs
Stoneform - Spell - World of Warcraft
    I realy like this racial
    b.Night Elf
Shadowmeld - Spell - World of Warcraft
Might not work if you duel with too hight level players.
    c.Dranei
Gift of the Naaru - Spell - World of Warcraft
Can save you in dire situations.

    2. First steps

    Step-1

The very first step you have to do is to move your new twink to a major city easily accessable with plenty of people (a.k.a orgrimmar /Ironforge /stormwind)
If you started Blood elf ask a friend to summon you or to give you a portal so you can avoid leveling up while runing from Eversong woods to Orgrimmar , This is not only for Blood elfs i recomend you to do this if you have to run long distances. A level up by accident can ruin all your work , if you have no friends at all try get your way to a major city via the mountains, generaly avoid exploring.

    Step-2

Second step after reaching the major city is to place your hearthstone there. It will help you alot since you'll have to do some big trips.

    Step-3

Third and mabye the most importand is to eliminate your expirience gains you can do this either in Orgrimmar either in Stormwind.
For 10 gold the following npcs will disable your experience gains. This includes experience from battlegrounds, quests, mobs and discoveries.
You can enable experience gains again if you wish, but it'll cost you another 10 gold.

<Horde> Slahtz - NPC - World of Warcraft
Slahtz is located in Orgrimmar, inside Hall of the Brave. He's stealthed so he might be a bit hard to spot.
He "hides" where the Arathi Basin queue master used to stand. (coordinates: 79.1, 28.7)
<Alliance> Behsten - NPC - World of Warcraft
He's hiding in the right corner as you walk into the Battlemaster's room in Stormwind. He's stealthed and has all the gear typical of a 19 Rogue twink, from Feet of the Lynx to the Engineering Goggles.
    Step-4

Fourth and last step before start gathering gear is to buy some big bags , quiver also useful for rogues and go and train first aid that will help you in duels and generaly in pvp.
Also if you forgot to do it at your starting area go train Stealth.

    3. Gearing up.

-Congratz. You reached third part and most difficult. On this step i will let you know the BiS Gear for your twink updated to the latest patch also the enchant you should put on , and an estimate on how much gold you will have to spend for each of the items.Note that it depends on your realm Economy-

    Trinket 1 & 2
Your first option is to use
Arena Grand Master - Item - World of Warcraft x2
It will take you several hours of farming but it defenetly worth it
How to get it : Every three hours in Gurubashi Arena in the middle a chest spawns you have to loot from it Wowhead: WoW Database Extraordinaire , after you do the quest that it gives , the goblin , tells you to bring him 12 trinkets so he will give you the blue version we want. It will take you alot of time ,at most realms althouhgt people don't realy bother to farm it so normaly you will be alone there and you won't need help from an 80 player. To get to gurubashi you can either get a summon or go by yourself thing that will cause you die plenty of times until you reach there.
Here is a list of the hours that chest becomes avaible, note that this is Realm time and not your local.
    Code:
    00:00
    03:00
    06:00
    09:00
    12:00
    15:00
    18:00
    21:00
    You can also use one
Inherited Insignia of the Horde - Item - World of Warcraft
instead of two Arena G. Masters
Costs 250 Stone Keeper's Shards and you can buy it from Wintergrasp Quartermaster

    Range weapon
As rogue you should use bow
Charmed Ancient Bone Bow - Item - World of Warcraft
You can buy it from any Heirloom Vendor for 65 emblems.

    To Sum up.

    Average Cost for all items.
    Min 150gold ~
    Max 14.000 gold ~
-Note that the prices might be lower or higher it depends on you realm's economy.
I included mats for enchants and item cost plus fee to enchanter , if you have guild mate to help you with enchants will be better.-

    4. Consumables

Before start gathering the consumables below i suggest you to level up your first aid
A level 1 character (with enough gold) can raise their first aid skill to 225, high enough to use Heavy Runecloth Bandage - Item - World of Warcraft , You can also raise your herbalism hight enought to get the healing spell.

    *BIG UPDATES TOMOROW ON CONSUMABLES*

Thanks you so much for pointing out this weapon , it is obvious that you will put the the Battleworn as offhand and venerable as Mainhand , the reason why i made this is because i use the furbolg, i will fix it as soon as possible on main guide.

BoA Chest is ilvl 1 so you can't enchant it with 150 health , witch is very importand.
You can still enchant a BoA chest with +100 health. Take the Stained Shadowcraft Tunic for example: it has 2 stam 3 AP 1 hit and 43 armor(at lvl 1). By going with the BoA you loose a total of 30 health(lol) and gain 3 AP and 1 hit and 43 armor (WELL worth it at lvl 1 IMO)

edit: all the other BoA chests only have 1 stam, so you would loose 40 health, but You still get way more armor and other stats than you would with the chests you listed.

This guide is abit outdated man.

Head: Purple Turban would be better, as it gives armor, also head enchants requires level 50 (you don't get any + stats until you're level 50, even if you have the enchant)

Neck is right, but still useless for a rogue.

    Cloak is right.

    Shoulders is right.

Chest is not 100% right, depending if you want a DPS build or not.

Shirt and tabard is care as they don't give any stats.

Trinkets: Dual AGM would probably be the best, as there's no CC on lvl 1 except from War Stomp (lol), but if you're duelling higher levels with CC, go PvP trinket, or double AGM if you're human.

Boots, correct, but I'd always go for minor movement on boots, unless you want to get kited.

All in all a good guide, just a little bit outdated, and you've forgotten a few important things.

Not a bad guide, but its missing a few things.

First of all, the hat should be purple turban, since it has armor on it.

Second of all, there is a much better chant for formal dangui. I'm drawing a blank on the name for it now, but its a craftable item you have to apply every hour, and it basically gives you a huge bubble every once in a while. If someone can remind me what its called +rep. It basically makes your twink indestructible to anyone under lvl 20.

Idk about the theorycrafting on it anymore, but back in the day (when I used to play my lvl 1 twink) +10 haste was FAR superior to +agi at level 1. It makes your lifestealing proc way more, which is where most of your deeps comes from anyways, and it just scales insanely well at lvl 1. I saw math on this a long time ago, so I'm not sure if its still up to date, but I'd venture to guess +10 haste is still the best.

2x agm all day. the extra 12 stam > the resil and pvp trink.

Lastly, you forgot my absolute fav consumable on lvl 1 twinks! Explosive Rocket - Item - World of Warcraft

Back in the day before BoA's when cadet bow was the prized possession of any lvl 1 twink (I QQ'd the day it become obsolete) I would make a new alliance toon, do that quest, delete the toon, rinse, repeat, until i had hundreds of those rockets, and then I'd go duel ppl @ XR and toss those things like they were about to spoil.

    Good times.

The only other thing Id recommend, is to have another set of boots with minor run speed, and a few more wispy cloaks with all the different +resistances. Having a mage kite you around for 10 mins is hella annoying.
