haha ok i kinda skiped the second page of comments but i think i can get the gist of em.

@takeashot. Seriously? I mean really? Even if i agree with you, you dont have the right to flame.... you haven't done anything for this forum. You have only been here for 2 months, no posts, rep. Even if it says you're a new user under you're name, your still a leacher.

Now about the OP. Not really common sense, i wouldn't have thought of it myself but it's not exactly easy.First if you just have the crap account doing nothing, he'll get kicked out. Even if you're leading it you're going to be forced to kick the guy if you want people to stay in the group. Then there's the problem of getting the group and rolling the highest number. Unless of course you just give it to your alt but then everyone will hate you...

I know this was a really long post for a comment but i've been wanting to read this post for a while and just never did. Overall you get an "f".... but w/e thanks for contributing. +rep.

So this slightly increases the chance of winning a roll? Why not just go twice?
    Less hassle.

Kill the bosses and roll for the loot with your alt.
Since you can trade items 2Hours after the instance, you better loot whit your two accs. (gives u actually 2/10 or 2/25 chance of winning )

I may have misunderstood the OP's 'guide', I think it's simply this:

If you want to get your character into a raid that you're hopelessly undergeared for, then take advantage of basic human psychology. People generally do not challenge an authority figure (unless they're the police, j/k) so the people you're GRILLING HARD about having the Koralon achievement won't think to question you.

    You:
    "link achievment for Koralorn plz"

    Potential raid member:
"here it is, now lets see yours, how do I know you're not just trying to bluff your way into voa on sat-ur-day?"

It's not going to go like that, you'll get the players in the raid and they don't suspect anything. You own their asses now, and as long as the raid is good enough to down the bosses nobody will leave.

"omg that guy's doing bad dps, kick him, o wait he's the raid leader, I should leave this perfectly good raid and waste my lockout just to prove a point..."
    etc

Will it get you a bad reputation? probably only if the raid wipes, then it's your fault (in the eyes of the masses) you singlehandedly caused the wipe by being undergeared etc
and players will erect an effigy of you in Dalaran square and set fire to it. Then they will come to your house in real life and steal your Internet.

but...if all goes well, the players will be drunk on loot, too full to bother with trying to warn others about you, maybe they don't even know you just bamboozled your way into voa, in full epic greys.

    Moral of the story:
Be the man in the white coat, the King, the General and such
then you won't be under the magnifying glass, and you get to sit back and relax as you work hard at being 'raid leader' such an easy job with no responsibility...ah yes.

If you have the Balls to try this, it may pay off quite well. However, I am strongly against it as it's leeching off others without putting in the work to 'earn' getting into voa.

At least get full item level 200 gear from heroics before going in, the BOE stuff is very cheap off ah, and just 2-4 days will have you decked out in gear that'll make you eligible for leading voa raids without people calling you out for doing 1.3k dps. On heroic.

But that's just my interpretation of what the OP's guide was all about, could have missed the point entirely.

This looks very sound in theory, and there are too many sheep in the world, and not enough chef's to cook them, so by taking the lead you've got a guaranteed spot in the raid no matter what. I don't see this failing to achieve results as long as you can bluff your way through.

Just imitate an old war veteran,
"back in Molten core we had Real raid bosses, not that you sissies would know anything about that, Ragnaros would deal 5000 damage per second to you in Real Life, and eat your dreams! he would suck your gold out the the nearest available orifice....those were the days, more dots scum!"

There now, that's padded it out a bit without adding too much to what the OP said.
I was in need of something to do *shrugs*

    Simplified version:

/w we need good dps for voa25, must have achieve/of the nightfall
/w we need a competent tank for voa....
    etc...

or /1 any experience dps/healers/tanks who want to do Voa25 pst me with achievement to join the raid.

If someone calls you out mid raid,
"WHAT THE *U*k you *** he's just using us to get free loots!"

    reply with something like:

"My main's got everything from here already, but I enjoy leading these every week and I'll have my alt geared in no-time. Just stick with me and we'll have these glorified bowling pins knocked down before lunch"

or something better if you can come up with it, which you will.

(After writing this, just realized that I have indeed misread the first post)
"You need two accounts, and your alt on the second account" says it all, I missed that (tired).

I thought it wouldn't need a 2nd account, but just to act as an 'authority figure'.
If you know the fights you should be able to lead the raid, and get good gear on your undergeared alt without doing anything covert, like having two accounts in there.

I'm going to try starting a voa raid next week, if I can't get into one with my measly 3.5k dps (Moonkin 2pcT8, the rest is item lvl 200) with any luck it'll succeed.

No more "sorry we need 4k dps min" rejections for me. *crosses fingers*

Yes, think I was completely on a different page to the original post, ah well.

    Very simple concept, pseudo-common sense.
Be Raid leader, invite all the players you need, profit (or die horribly)

This is common sense if you have two accounts and want tier easily, but people don't really take too well to noobs in their raids anymore so it's a dumb idea. Unless you have 25 your gonna need 9 really good people.

It'd be much easier to just run heroics, seeing as how if you use just this you'll have a .10:25 chance at getting anything, every week if you just do vaults. :/
