If you would have read the TOPIC NAME and stop being a prick, you would have noticed it said (Server Dependent). Which means, it may not work on YOUR server, but it can work on someone else server. Personally on my server I sometimes get stacks of ore going for 7.5-8g per stack. Or when I am bored and waiting on raid time in Dal and see someone selling cheap stacks, I buy them out, send to my rogue to smelt and be on with it.

Golden Pearls during Pre-bc were big on this too. Sell for 1g, most auctioned them for 30s-50s. Pre-bc was harder to make gold though.

The AH takes time, you have to deal with BS undercutting and ****ing AH cuts.
Vending is instant and a sound way to make a profit.

There is no rule against selling items to a vendor that you bought from someone else. They have no grounds for a ban or suspension. Don't jump to the "ban" wagon.
