[Tip] Despawn Towerguards in AV

This doesn't really fit into the exploitssection, so I put it into the guidessection, although it's more like a Tip than a real guide.

I used the searchfunction but didn't find anything like it.

I wouldn't consider this common sense. I found it out by accident and then tested it a few times. Worked everytime on the Dun Baldar North Bunker, haven't tested the others yet.

1. Be alone around the tower you want to tag
2. Gain aggro from the guards and enter the tower
3. Tag it
4. Move away from the tower till you get out of combat

If you were the only one on the guards aggrolists they should be despawned by now.

I know that this is not interessting if you can kill the guards easily yourself, but this is maybe something you will find useful as a healer or with an lowlevel alt.

The guards should despawn anyway because you have tagged the tower so it is Contested and no longer controlled by a faction. The tower will then be destoryed once the timer is up, but if the other faction tags it back the guards spawn again.

Oh .. sorry .. never actually been there when they cap it back as i'm normally dead or miles away I just presumed that once the faction who actually owns the tower tagged it back the guards would spawn to once again protect it.

From my experience the guards don't despawn just by tapping. They maybe despawn if the tower is destroyed or shortly before that. Possible that they despawn instantly if your a stealth class and you manage to tag without anyone on the guards aggrolist.

I'm usually use invisibility at the bottom of tower, run all the way past guards and tag it. They don't despawn.

I guess it's a range/zone thing.
