Alright i just wrote this whole guide and I clicked backspace to delete something and it went back to the previous page -_- anyways.......I am writing this guide because my guild was franticly looking for a guide for these fights, with no prevail i wanted other guilds to get at least a breif view on what this these fights are about.
To start the event talk to the ******* right by the entrance.
Tip: Use heroism right away so you can use it twice during the encounter
First boss Gormok the Impaler (8.9 million health) is a Magnataur, the off off tank should be the first tank to tank the boss, he should tank him down to about 60%, then the off tank should pick up the boss and off off tank should look to get the adds on other people. Keep killing the boss until about 30%, then the main tank can pick up the boss, then finish off the boss. This boss puts a dot on the tank that ticks for 2~3k every 2 seconds. This stacks (This is the reason for a tank change) Throughout the fight the boss will spawn adds, these adds will get on random ranged members, they are not tauntable, they must be aggro'd. Fires will also spawn on ranged dps, and healer places. They must be avoided because they do aprox. 5k damage per second (Trust me they don't give a buff I tried)
Every 10-15 seconds the boss will increase his damage by 15%. It will keep stacking till it becomes untankable. Do not kill the adds on this boss yet. Finish the boss off and you get 20 seconds to kill the rest of the adds, bandage, battle res what ever, you do not leave combat though! Make sure everyone kills adds before they move to the next boss. This boss is the easiest fight.
You will now move onto the next boss, the next encounter has 2 bosses, two Jourmongers (5 million health each) (say Jourmongers 4 times without laughing) Acidmaw and Dreadscale. This boss fight is the hardest boss fight, (not any harder than 2d sarth 25 man, its pretty easy compared to other things) Main tank picks up Acidmaw, and the off tank picks up Dreadscale. Acidmaw throws posions on the ground that need to be avoided, he also infects people with posion that will slow them, and if they are not cleansed they will become paralyzed and most likely die. The only way to cleanse them is using the debuff that Dreadscale you should assign 3-4 ranged dps to get the debuff from Dreadscale and bring it to people that are affected with the posion. The debuff will remove the posion from everyone within 10 yards and yourself. So kill Acidmaw, from time to time him and Dreadscale will go underground and reappear on opposite sides. Make sure the tanks are aware. After you kill off Acidmaw, Dreadscale will be buffed and increases the damage he does by 50%, this is very healable.... And the boss will drop quick, get anyone out that is still stuck in the posion. Just finish off Dreadscale too and make sure that everyone is out of the posion because it doesn't despawn till about 15 seconds, the next boss will come in 20 seconds.
Sorry for the massive amounts of blocks on names, I am a bit parnoid.
Tip: The best time to Battle Rez is in between the boss spawn
Anyways..... Lets move on, after 20 seconds of death on the Jourmongers Icehowl will spawn (13.2 million health). He is a giant Yeti. Your main tank should pick up the boss, every once and a while he will freeze everyone and cast a crystallized breath which causes about 2.5k per 2 seconds for 4 seconds. Just make sure you are always topping off everyone during the fight because you never know when he can do this. After about 30 seconds he will move to the middle and throw everyone to the wall, everyone will be stunned for 3 seconds. He is going to target one person, if he successfully hits the person its 1 shot and the boss will enrage and increase the damage he does by 50% (This boss hits like a truck so 50% will probably 2-3 shot a tank so be aware) The way to avoid this is to just strafe along the walls of the arena, when he charges you just make sure you get out of his way and he will ram into the wall, he will be stunned for 3 seconds and the damage he takes will be increased by 100%, this is a great time to pop heroism if you didn't already, or if you are poping it twice. This is all the abilitys this boss does, its a rinse and repeat. This boss is a really easy boss for organized guilds.
Alright this is my guide on the Trial of the Crusader, if you follow this I promise you will succede. These ability are the same exact in 10 man, but the damage done is reduced. These fights are quite easy, takes about an hour.
Remmember some stuff, you will never get a break to drink or eat or rez, you will never leave combat. And no I didn't win that God damn ring
If anything doesn't make sense PLEASE let me know, I really would like to know so i can help you and your guild! Thanks for reading
