I've done a few searches, but can't find anything with a guide on this so I though I'd write one as this is how I'm making income at the moment. My apologies if this is a repost, I'm writing this on a whim.
EDIT - Damn, I can't edit the title. I would make a typo there of all places....
Enchant Scrolls
Many high end or even low progression guilds wont raid with those who are not fully enchanted, yet it's amazing how lazy people with money to spare will be and instead of finding a guild/trade chat enchanter, will in cases pay almost double for a similar scroll from the auction house.
I usually post around 50-100 auctions a night, finding the best selling time (EU realms) to be around 00.30AM when raids are ending and (server dependent) I am able to make several thousand gold a night in profit.
Creating the Scrolls
I am not going to go in depth on how to acquire materials, this isn't a "JC and D/E" thread, however this is the method that I use, by buying out Eternal Earth and Eternal Shadow and disenchanting the Shadowmight rings they create. You could also set up a pug naxx group with friends who wont be needing greens/epics, or just buy the materials flat. If you are buying materials I recommend Addon "'Lil Sparky's Workshop" downloadable from Curse, which adds a "Materials cost" and an average selling price next to all tradeskills, including enchants. This allows you to see which you should avoid. Aim for Northrend enchanting mats, plenty of infinite dust with greater cosmic essence, however some dream shards will be useful, especially if you need to buy some of the patterns. (Greater Assault Patterns are excellent to buy)
Apart from the materials (Here I will be using mostly Northrend enchanting mats) you will also require Armor Vellum III - Item - World of Warcraft and Weapon Vellum III - Item - World of Warcraft. Check your server's AH prices for these. On the server I play, these are 7-10g each on Auction house which is somewhat overpriced. If you have an inscription friend/alt, get them to mill herbs, create the Ink of the Sea and make you the vellums. You can get 50-60 vellums from 6 stacks of Icethorn or equivalent herbs.
With both the enchanting mats (Infinite dust, Greater Cosmic Essence, Dream Shard) and vellums, you can begin enchanting. Through several weeks of scroll selling it is clear some sell more often than others. A few things to realize -
1 - Often the best enchants won't sell as well as those just below in quality. (+8 Stats on chest sells far more than +10 stats on chest for me)
2 - If people are sensible/good enough to want enchants that require abyss crystals then they are likely to be sensible enough to realize that buying said enchant as a scroll is a bad idea. There are exceptions to this.
Look for enchants that most people need. Check around your guildmembers and see what they use. Some of the best sellers I've found are linked below
Enchant Chest - Super Stats - Spell - World of Warcraft (I can usually shift 10+ of these a night at a good profit ratio)
Enchant Boots - Icewalker - Spell - World of Warcraft (Again, everyone seems to want this enchant, excellent profit, cheap mats)
Enchant Gloves - Crusher - Spell - World of Warcraft (Sells better than its inferior enchant)
Enchant Bracers - Greater Assault - Spell - World of Warcraft (Another very popular one, this should bring in around 200g server dependent)
Enchant Boots - Greater Assault - Spell - World of Warcraft (Low profit ratio, but still worth selling)
Enchant 2H Weapon - Greater Savagery - Spell - World of Warcraft (Same as Super stats, for those people who don't have the money for a higher enchant)
Enchant Staff - Spellpower - Spell - World of Warcraft (For casters who don't want to spend out on Abyss Crystals)
Enchant Cloak - Greater Agility - Spell - World of Warcraft (Seems popular for all melee classes)
Selling the Scrolls
These items have no deposit fee, so can be put on for 48hrs if you wish. Personally I use 12 hour auctions, as it gives me time to see what enchants sell well at certain points in the day. I tend to put the scrolls on at around 18:00 server time, and then check at around 22:00 to undercut others if necessary, giving me time to raid inbetween. Generally late evening sells well, but people are constantly upgrading their gear, and with no deposit cost, it doesn't hurt to have auctions constantly up.
Try to get a good look at the market you are using, learn the average price of each enchant in your head for a few days before selling if you need. You don't want to sell a load of one enchant only to discover the price they were at was significantly lower than usual. The prices bounce around so if somebody heavily undercuts for "Fast sales" Just keep your scrolls of that type off and wait it out.
As a final note for selling enchants, don't rule out odd enchants. Who cares if you hold onto some of the odd ones for a month, as long as they sell eventually. Things like Gatherer on gloves, Mongoose, Crusader, or some of the more expensive weapon enchants. (I have recently found that 2H Weapon - Massacre seems to sell surprisingly well, and have offloaded 4 in the last week.) Twink enchants can work well, but most have to be grinded/farmed... I haven't ventured there yet.
Final Notes
If you don't have a scribe, I'd recommend finding someone to make the Vellums for you, in the form of a friend/guildmate. You could even use someone else for the enchanting, but that person might get a bit annoyed at being used for 50+ scrolls a day! On that note, keep a look out for idiots on trade chat leveling enchanting, the sort of people who say "WTC [Enchant] My mats 10g" Often people will do this with good enchants and if you approach them nicely, most wont mind enchanting straight onto your vellums as long as you pay the price they asked in /trade.
I think that about covers it really. There are no screenshots as I don't think they can explain much in this guide, unless you want proof in the form of my mailbox in the mornings. After a good night, I can pull in 3-4k in the morning, and depending on the enchants sold, 1-3k of that is pure profit. I hope this works out as well for you guys.
