how to display ore and herbs at the sam time

here is a little tip for peeps who want to display both ores and herbs at the same time with out the need to enter battlegrounds and change tracking type but dont know how.

all you need is a program thats been around since day dot ' Gatherer' and 'Gatherermate'

once you load up you add ons enter gatherer mate
click on display settings then general and change show mining nodes to 'always show'

now in game select herbs as your tracker and there ya go 2 different types of nodes displayed at once

disclaimer for the flamers: this does not physically track 2 different nodes at the same time but uses data gathered to display the known locations of spawning nodes

Unfortunately that's really not the same as tracking 2 things at once.

You still need to fly down and look at each spot to check if theres a node there.

You could do the script that changes between track herbs and ore quickly, or you could just download a radar program; both of which allow you to track both at the same time. This is just like using a mapmod that has little icons on the places you have found a node at before and going to each of them and checking.

I see where the op is coming from. But it is just common sense, and those who are whining about having to fly down to check, come on i mean wtf learn to bind your tracking to mouse scroll. You can use this addon's hud version so you know what type off node you near it take like half a second to move the mouse wheel to save you flying down. But anyways combine gatherer with routes addon and you can make some petty fast farming paths anyways.

Get WoW Infinity and track everything.

You can use free tool MrTrackIt. Just run it once and check flags to track herb and ore.
After that you can close the tool but will see both resources on radar until UI reload.

This thread seems pointless.
1. The title is misinformative, aka, the reader believes that he can TRACK two items at the same time.
2. Gatherer can track ANY clickable container inside WoW (Everfrost chips, herbs, miningnodes, treasurechests, water barrels etc)
