[Tip] Mail and sending gold...

Hey guys, I talked to a GM yesterday and got some interesting facts from him that I wanted to share with you today. Well my account got hacked a while back ago and with my vacation and such, I couldn't get a hold of any GM to help until yesterday.

First of all he told me that the server saves logs up to two months. So they couldn't retrieve my items because too much time had passed for it to be possible to verify my claims.

And second, which was the most suprising. Well it was regarding mail and sending gold. I asked him if he could find any mail from one of my alts sent to my main, and he stated that any information around mails get deleted immediately when they are read and trashed. Now I found this very interesting and asked him if this is true even when sending gold trough the mail system, and he confirmed that so was the case.

Now I've never believed those money laundry guides i've found on the forums, but hell it seems to be somewhat true. I don't know if what he told is 100% true but I thought that this information could be useful for some scammers out there or for people that are trying to keep their gold.

Don't think so for mails, i sent two guild bank of scammed account, to an alt that i deleted after the transaction and they found me =/ Ban 48h

Well I'm not sure on the details, but I think with this information it is easier to find how they catch you while money laundring. They are maybe using other methods than just following the mail sent..:P Oh well, I don't know but felt I should atleast share

They always say they save logs only for 2 months, yet my friend got his gear back after 9 months...
