Hey guys, 1st post, first try.
First of all:
I tested this with 2 accounts, 2 chars. (I have no clue what it does on 5 chars)
I use 2 screens.
------------------------------------------
I found out something nice, when i was struggling to get it done for myself.
I am using a Logitech G15 (click) myself, and with that u can 'program' keybindings into the G-buttons.
Now, I dont want to buy software, like Keyclone or AutoHotKey.. what ever..
Its not worth it for me, because i only want to try it. (I bet more people think the same about it...).
Now, Make 2 accounts, make the chars, start both up.
Activate the G-buttons:
Lets say on key 2 (in wow), there is the spell "Fireball".
- Press the "MR" button
- Press the G-button wich u like to program
- Press: 2 --> Alt + tab --> 2 --> Alt + tab
- Press "MR" to stop programming.
What u basicly do here, is switch between the 2 wow-programs, and click button 2.
Now, i know u want to say: U cant be serious, it aint working.
But: the logitech keyboard, can do it so incredible fast, that u dont even see the "Switch window", wich u can see when pressing alt+tab the normall way.
With this method, u can program all your G-buttons. I have something like this:
G1 -> Eat & Drink
G2 -> Follow (With a macro, on my second char)
G3 -> /cast spell1
G4 -> /cast spell2
G5 -> Buff
The spellcasting, should be done with a macro like this:
Character 1: Just use the normall spell
Character 2: Macro like this:
Like i say, i tested it with 2 accounts. I think, if u use it with 5x wow client open, it will only switch between 1 & 2 (because, 1 is the most recent opened window).Code:/Assist character1 /Cast Fireball
I hope u like it, i wrote it myself, no stealing, no copyrights..
U dont have to rep, But dont piss me off, not where i came for. I try to share something usefull.
