So, like the casino, this is a giveaway, essentially you will buy a big ticket item (i used a bold stormjewel) and then a number of smaller items(stacks of herbs, blue gems,flasks, etc), gift wrapped, and gave away for 50g per entry, each entry bought one item

So far i have made about 1k off of this, noone has gotten the stormjewel yet, so, until blizz bans this have fun

I had a hard enough time starting up casino's on my server in the first place... but then blizzard had to say no =(

Yeah, I did this a year ago. simple yet not many people think about it. I just went on AH, bought a bunch of level 9 greens 10s each, told them one had a rare in it, 20g. lying ftw; they never know if I am telling the truth.

Well my version of this revolves more around higher levels and thats why the stormjewel is the incentive, you get a lot more people with a big ticket item, i hope to do it with a chopper for 1k gold entries soon enough

Casino's are banned it comes under the gambling rule.

1k entries for the chopper will be to high.

Had people doing the chopper thing for awhile now and they are normally around 50 - 100 gold per ticket. Went for one month then he did a roll based on the number of people that entered. Worked well, think he made 1k or so more than he would have if he sold it normally. Also gave out pets and stuff, basically what you could get from the dailies as random gifts.

There was alot of questioning if he would follow thru with it, but he kept at it and eventually won people over.

But who knows if you are well known enough on the server for raffles they might trust you with a 1k. It would least mean thats less people to be playing againts.

I found it quite hard to find anyone trusting enough to put in gold on it, only got 1 person (Who put in 15g on it). So +rep

I moved to the next town got a new internet provider and start again hehe!
