Wouldn't it be easier to kill the first three bosses and then pull those packs with the technicians after him? The technicians have like 15k hit points which should be doable and if you kill him at the edge you might be able to loot and run out without getting teared apart by the rest of the pack. If you get back in he will be respawned as you didn't kill the whole pack. I also think there are two technicians in each pack and they have a drop chance that is 4 times as high as the one of Krixix.

Ranged should do enough damage to hit and run and loot after they zone back in. Corpses should remain on the ground. Just an idea. Don't know if you can survive the packs though.

This is true, and it is doable. But it only leads to one problem: Goodluck convincing your raid to only clear the first couple of bosses and not the rest of the instance lol. Even when I cleared with friends, some of them wanted ore too, so they cleared every goblin they could....

So this guide allows you to hop back in if its cleared, and still farm a bit! And Krixxix has same drop-rate I believe, but I cant be 100% sure.

in theory t8.5 tank dk can easly solo all groups wich drop elementium ores anyway its only doable without yelling etc with guild - you take 10-15 ppl spread it for 3 groups and do it then you come only with alts to save id and farm

hmm this work if i dont kill any boss in BWL and my friend give save this instance with kill all boss? I go with this save and goblin always die......

A little tidbit to add, with 3.2 you will be able to extend the raid lockout period indefinitely so you only need to clear up to firemaw once and keep extending it till you have all the ore

Not a terrible idea, probably best used if you know you wont get anyone to re-clear it for the next week, and you want to use my method through the following week. Cause otherwise, it's better to re-clear!

I have to tell you I read the title this post and thought I would need to kick myself in the the ass. I just forged my Thunderfury on my DK and had to go thru the process of farming the ore. I will tell you now that the title is misleading as there is no way to solo your your way past the the second boss. Regardless, you maybe be able to get very lucky and have an ore drop of that mob, but more than likely you won't see much. A much better method is just go with 5ppl and tear the place up and kill the tech packs and hope for some luck. I have seen as may as 6 drop in one run, and as few as 1. I have tried the soft reset on the packs and seen a very low drop rate, not to mention its very time consuming. Better to make friends and just slam the first 3 bosses, total time around 45mins - 1hr. I will give you its a well written guide, but I will tell ppl they are just wasting time. If only you could solo farm those ores..

Hmm, right I've tried this today, but it doesn't seem to work for me.
I cleared it yesterday with a pug, and today I went in to kill him. (invited a character from a second account, formed a raid, and went in.)

First time he was there. (though he didnt drop first time for me.)

But since then I haven't gotten him to respawn. First time I waited 10 minutes exactly and went in, but only found the corpse. This time I hadn't looted everything so I looted what was left on the corpse, and went out again.
Waited another 20 minutes and went back in. Still no respawn.
Did the same a third time, and still no respawn. Not sure what I'm doing wrong.

Any ideas?
