Scarlet Monastery: Cathedral! (Farmings)

Pre-reqs:
1.Druid/Rogue/Sprint potion

2.A preferred 80

3.AoE's

4.The ability to survive an onslaught of Scarlets.

5.The Scarlet Key, which you SHOULD have. (If not, go to SM Library)

What is this useful for?

Farming Morgraine, running lowbies for XP, Awesome RaF leveling.

Procedure:

As an 80, one should be able to not only enter, but slide past mobs unnoticed.

Sneak past these mobs and head into the Cathedral section of the instance.

Go punch (aggro) Morgraine in the face, this immidiatly pulls all mobs in the Cathedral.

Pop sprint, and run out of the Cathedral and jump down the waterfall. This forces the pulled mobs to split into two and run down the side ramps, which pulls all* of the mobs downstairs.

Run into the starting hallway, and await the army of Scarlets. Pop evasion, barkskin, whatever and commence AoE'age.


*Some mobs will totally be left, cope.

Doesn't work in Library, mobs there will tether beyond ~2-3 packs worth. Armory though doesn't tether, so you can run all the way back, smack one of the guys outside Herod's door and run back to the entrance with the bulk of the wing in tow. Never tried the Graveyard.

Its odd, I did this exact thing last night on my druid when farming for Scarlet gear for my Paladin. Works fantastically well. +2rep

Also h3adsh0t, RAF rocks pretty hard. I started my pally 2 nights back with a friend, and barely playing we're both at 30. We should be 60 by the end of the week when we're moving on to more characters.

i was just farming cath for my lvl 38 mate...couldnt pull the whole instance because im only a level 75 mage, we got the message done too many instances so we had to stop

I did this on my 80 DK, Glyphed for DaD damage, did this for 2 friends with RaF, they got from 25 - 43 in one day. (I was lazy xD)

Yeah, RAFing this is epic, I got from 30-41 in a few hours. In about 15 hours of played time with RaF and a spare friend 80, I'm nearly 45. It's sweet.

There is a way to do it with a prot pally. If you have Divine Sacrifice + Divine Guardian, your sacred shield will be up for 60 sec and your shield for 12 sec (recover 6 sec each time) the bubble isn't an immune bubble so you'll keep the aggro all the time. You'll also have to cast cleanse on you to clear slowing effect that reduce speed.

1-Make you powerlvling wait in the hallway they shouldn't move at all
2-Pop Sacred shield then run through mobs. Head to cath door.
3-Pop divine shield open the door (heal if needed) then taunt mongraine
4-Run back the other side to the hallway and hide behind the corner then cast consecration.

They should die quick and your alt or poeple you running will gain 1 lvl per run. Run take 5 min to do. Loot 15-20 min depend how many you are!!

does anyone know how to do a RaF by doing a multilog so u can lvl up ur own toons quick and not have to ask ppl to play wow?

Very old repost. If you just type in cathedral there is over a dozen if you take the time to look. There are guides with videos on this etc. To quote just one of the many guide.

"Hit up All of Scarlet Monetary DO NOT DO LIBRARY! Library will glitch and cause massive wipes. Pulling the entire place all at once will be easy for all plate classes. For the cathedral just straight run to the pally boss he will aggro that entire room"


Your guide is a nice one but this can be done with any class. I have been doing this as a disc priest for the past 2months for RAF. All you do is SWP the boss. Shield and spam holy nova once they are all around you.
