Solo Leveling Guide

First I want to say hello to you all guys, I have been reading the forum for a while and now I finally decided to post my own guides. I am from Brazil, I have blog about wow (World of Warcraft Brasil) and this is my leveling guide. It is intented for solo leveling, no RAF, no rush through instances, just you! I wrote the guide in Portuguese and used Google Translator to change it into English, so there must be some terrible English mistakes (although I also make terrible mistakes...). I hit lvl 60 some days ago, my play time was 3 days 13 hours, and I spent a lot of time at AH. You can easily hit 80 in 5 days, and I will write a new guide using hairloom items!

World of Warcraft Brazil - Guide Leveling Like Crazy!


Last month we brought the Guide to How to Make Money in the Auction House. This month we bring the Guide to level like crazy! Odd name, but appropriate. After turning casual player, the time to play is very short, so I have to use that time well. After spending a good time just getting money in AH, I decided to lvl up a new char spending the least time possible.

The first question is: "How long does it take to get to level 80?" I believe that around 15-20 days of play is the normal time to level until 80. Especially when you are beginner in the game. This is a long time. Enough to be disappointing because the cool stuff is the game post level 80. Imagine you saying to your friend: "If you start playing today, 1 hour per day, end of 2010 will be at 80". 15 days are 360 hours of play, a year to arrive at level 80 if the guy is playing an hour a day every day! And if he is not fast, it is likely that it will take longer than 15 days. Now, if I tell you that it is possible to arrive at 80 with less than 10 days of game, what do you think? If you do not believe, believe! In this guide, my goal is to reach at level 80 in less than 7 days of play. First, I clarify one point: 7 days of play are 7 days in the game, not in real life! To know your time of play, just type / played in the game chat.


Step 1: Preparation

Lvl up fast is not only log on WoW and start doing quests and grind like crazy. There is a preparation for the procedure.

Addons: addons are essential to the process of lvling. The idea is simple: if the addon saves your time, use it! I will not go into details, type in Google "wow addons" and look / use all that save you time. Tip: use the Titan Panel or any measure that how much you earn from Xp per hour of play. Prepare well your interface, configure the addons as using both the options of the game, because this interface is that you will use the level 1 to 80.

Money: Very important! If you have another char, is a sponsor and the money that you lvl up char. If you do not have another char, use our Guide to How to Make Money in the Auction House, even if it is to win some 50 gold. This will make much difference, especially in the initial levels. The more money you can send the char to be lvl up the better. With this money you must buy 4 bags of 16 slots and the best equipment possible. I particularly change the equipment every 5 levels. Like I said at the beginning, little money is the job, but after level 25-30, buy the best items in the AH is expensive, and you'll have to spend hundreds of gold to keep your char with the best equipment. At level 30 is PRIORITY have money to buy your mount! If you do not have money, use items that gain from quests, but know that this will decrease your lvling speed . Good items = kill faster. kill fast = lvl up fast.

Guide: Okay, talking about a guide to use another guide. Weird, huh? But our guide is different, so we use the traditional guides to help. The guide that I speak are those step by step, saying "go there, guy talk, delivered it to Beltran, etc..." There are many out there, paid and free. Not that Google is not solved ... now the most recommended is absolutely totally mega a guide IN-GAME. A guide In-Game Addon works as a, say, in the game!, What to do. Time: You will need time. No use playing an hour a week. There is no guide in the world that will take you to level 80 if you play only one hour on Sunday. Step 2: Leveling Up

After you have prepared all the time to put hand in mass and begin lvl up! Here I just give some tips to make much difference.

1. Delete, delete, short with CHAT. So you will not see when someone talk to you, which will not distract you, and you will continue lvling upquietly.
2. Nothing to Loot in items! Killed a mob? Okay, kill the next. You do not need to get the items on the floor, this time spent, time that you do not have. Just grab the quest items, otherwise you just kill, kill and kill ...
3. The shortest distance between two points is a straight line. Do not take the road just because he is cute and safe. If you have to go far láaaa, go for the kill even if this is the fastest way. And deviation of the mobs, do not stop to kill the wolf that will give you zero to xp.
4. Not die. Simple, not die. Dying spends time. I am 32 and died at once! The less you die, the better! I would not have died to see how far I would get without dying ...
5. Do not waste time. You are a machine lvl up. Make everything as fast as possible and use all your skills for that. The faster you walk, kill, do quests, etc.., The faster you lvl up.

Anyway, made a mad lvl up. Some people will say it takes the grace of the game, but when the levels start to increase their motivation for sure is going up and everything will flow very well.

I have to agree on that. I personally only have one 80 (another almost there now 73) and i find it hard to get motivated to level, be it due to bg's or just lazyness. If you came up with a guide that would motivate people, well that would just be epic.

I personally level faster when I have someone to talk to,
not sure how that works out exactly, but that's what always ends
