This is my first post, sort of an exploit but maybe more of a nice trick to level.
So back when I was leveling my paladin I found a method that I figure should work for just about any tank class to pull in huge amounts of xp per hour. I went from 77 to 80 using this method in 1 day.
In one wing of nexus (where the tree mobs are) there are frayers which are non elite mobs with about 4k HP and when you kill them their corpses create an aura which gives you 4% of your total hp and 2% of your total mana every 2 seconds as long as you are standing near the corpse.
The trick here is that by using this aura its as if you had a healer with you constantly putting HoTs on you so you don't die and always stay at high health. But since you don't actually have a healer with you in fact you have no one else with you, you are able to kill several elite mobs at the same time and get 100% of the xp all to yourself.
At level 77 the 3 and 4 pulls of smaller mobs all gave about 6.5k each. Meaning a 4 pull nets you 26k xp, not bad for about of min of work to AOE them down and move onto the next group. The large trees that are single pull were giving me 12k xp each and the single pull patrol wrymkin that i pulled in from the halls gave 13.5kxp each. I was even able to solo the rock boss at the end of the area by using the aura and bubble at the right time. Each pull (other than the boss) takes about a min to dps down so you are pulling anywhere from 12k to 26k xp per min.
Take the low end of that, 12k per min x 60 mins and you are looking at 720kxp per hour.
I was pretty decently geared and 77 is a bit high but I think any tank class with decent gear could do it quite a bit lower than 77 seeing as I had no trouble at all.
Can anyone confirm how low of a level you can actually pull this off at?
Sorry for the wall of text, hope this helps some people blow though the slowest levels in the game.
