Risky, and yes, many people play wow but how many people got 1k gold + and is willing to invest that typ of sum for gear? On my server only 3$ of total population is investing gold in those crafted items, only 40 or fewer have the crafted items.

Like other person said show a screen with your mail inbox showing that you indeed got 900-1k gold for 1 frozen orb.

PS: I am also using auctioneer and it shows the symbol of the item, considering runed orbs are green and frozen are blue they will notice the difference and ofcourse, the inflated price. So you must have luck too then that those people don't use auctioneer.

Lolz. where are you coming up with those numbers from in the first paragraph. And seriously, a lot of people have 1k+ gold. I mean come on. how do you think people buy dual spec and cold weather flight training?
And with the masses of dailies that can pay up to 20g each? ofc people have loads of money to waste. hell i chucked thousands of gold getting all the alliance ground mounts so i could have an albino drake! (if i can waste money on mounts ofc people will throw it at their gear, what else they gonna spend it on?) ^^

About the orbs...hm...I'm really not sure about this. I've seen it done before with illusion dust and dream dust and it didn't work at all. If somebody posts a ss showing us that a frozen orb was sold for 1k g...then I might try it.

Problem with this is that orbs are fairly easy to obtain thus someone will consistently under cut you. You would have have to buy out low prices ones, but also what happens is that people dont list them for 100 anymore, now they put it for like 200...

I will try this on my Paladin, and I doubt that it will work. I'll put up a screenshot of the auction in an hour, after searching for "Orb" and checking the differences of Runed and Frozen Orbs.

For one, 99% of you didnt even try it, you are just bad mouthing you, and a lot of you arent even contributors, if you are going to leech and say "Doesnt work, you fail" at least get some rep first.

Stupid enough that it could work, all it takes is a mis click, a drunk, or someone simply not paying attention to whats going on. Also, since runed orbs are "more expensive", they could think the blues should be selling for more then/as much as the greens. (if that makes sense, I cant really re word that)

well this COULD work i guess would have a better chance if you were selling in trade for like 700g and ppl were whispering you like crazy then u C.o.d them frozen orb instead but that u can get banned for i think,
