I. What Are Achievements?
"World of Warcraft's achievements come in several varieties. Some simply require specific actions to unlock, such as getting a haircut or defeating a member of each race in your opposing faction in PvP. Others involve a progress bar and require you to do something several times -- such as give out 10 hugs. Some achievements are progressive; for example, once you complete an achievement to collect 10 vanity pets, you might next be asked to collect 25. Finally, meta achievements unlock when you complete other achievements -- unlocking all World Exploration achievements (see below) unlocks a World Explorer meta achievement. Some achievements, including those that involve quests, honorable kills, items currently in your possession, skills (including professions), exploration, and reputations, will be applied to your character retroactively. "
II. What can I Gain from Achievements?
Well, from my point of view, Cool rewards such as pets, Tabards, Titels. Etc. And most likely well known if you a have the rarer achievements done.
IV. Quests
Classic/Burning Crusade
[Bombs Away]
This one is easier, but has random factors that are hard to prevent. First are the kaliris, if you aggro one and get dazed or hamstrung you lose, so try to avoid them. The other one is the respawn of the eggs, try to wait a few minutes next to the quest giver and go a few minutes after you saw someone take the quest if it's an issue.
The route I chose was the following one: Maps - World of Warcraft
[Blade's Edge Bomberman]
Go to the Burning Legion camp north of O'grila for this, and make sure you don't lose a single second of bomb uptime. Don't try to avoid other if you fail a throw just reset it, you lost too much time. Make sure your 15th bomb is thrown at the southern-most cannon so that you can fly back and turn in ASAP (you have to turn in for credit). Also try to avoid being clumsy and losing time turning the quest in (in might sound stupid, but this achievement is hard and every second really counts).
[Loremaster]
You have to go everywhere around the Azorath and complete every quest you find or see. Here are Couple of tips:
-Track low-level quests
-Make sure your quest log is never full w
-Do NOT skip any quest
-If you did all the zones in the Azarath and are short go on wowhead, look up the zone, and select "Show Horde/Alliance Questgivers" in the drop down menu above the map.
- Impartant: Look on Wowhead for a list of items that give quests

C. Arathi Basin
[Arathi Basin Veteran]
Win 100 games. Its a matter of time but you might
lose more often.
[Me and the Cappin' Makin' it Happen]
Take 50 flags. This is easy, and again just a matter of time. It's quite possible to have a lot of flag tags in one game -- you're not required to capture the flag you've tagged for it to count for the Achievement. In a worst case scenario, simply be the first to take the nearest node (Farm or Stables) in fifty games.
[Disgracin' the Basin]
Take 3 flags in one game. Doing this Achievement should help you with the previous one. It's a great incentive for players to pay attention to the flag instead of mindlessly fighting off it. Then again, tagging it doesn't guarantee you'll stick around for it to get captured. Easily doable with a bit of effort, specially if teams are
evenly matched.
[Overly Defensive]
Defend 3 flags in one game. Now this one isn't quite as easy as the last Achievement. First of all, when the opposing team tags the flag, it usually means that they have the superior force and that you are quite likely dead or about to die. Maybe not even anywhere near the flag at all. You will have one minute to get that back -- technically you have fifty seconds. You will be using some of that time to travel, resurrect, fight and kill enemies who would stop the tag or worse, a combination of all three. It's certainly doable, but it takes a lot of circumstances being in your favor for you to do so. Just be mindful of the flag timer. AddOns like Deadly Boss Mods for Battlegrounds are good for this.
[To the Rescue!]
Defend 50 flags. This is one of the more worthy Achievements because it takes a considerable amount of effort to do. As hard as Overly Defensive is, getting back a flag fifty times takes some dedication. In fact, you should treat losing games as an opportunity to complete this Achievement. One flag defended in a losing match makes it worth it.
[Resilient Victory]
Overcome a 500 resource advantage and win. Another difficult Achievement, even with a pre-made. If you let the opposing team get ahead by 500 points, it usually takes a 4- or 5-cap to overtake it. Deadly Boss Mods will help you track how many flags you'll need to win the game, but if it's really early, establishing and maintaining 4-cap should do it. If it's late in the game, you have no choice but to take all five flags. That's a tall order considering you're against a team that has held three or more flags long enough to jump ahead 500 points.
[Territorial Dominance]
Win 10 times while holding 5 bases. This is another Achievement you don't necessarily have to focus on. It will just happen. 5-caps happen quite often on both sides, even with PUGs. If you want to expedite the process instead of wishing for good groups, organize a premade. Otherwise, just grind your way to those 100 wins, and it's pretty much guaranteed that you'll get enough 5-caps along the way.
[Let's Get This Done]
Win in 6 minutes. The simplest answer would be to play with a premade, but this is doable even with a PUG with some luck and disproportionate numbers at the beginning of the match. The only way to win within that time considering flags need one minute to get captured and start ticking is to 5-cap. Without having to go through tactics and all, just play hard, work together as a team, and this Achievement should just happen.
[We Had it All Along]
Win 2000 to 1990. This is an insanely difficult Achievement to get, and somewhat impossible to engineer. Even with a premade, you won't necessarily get this result -- and be on the winning side. These numbers happen when the game seesaws between three and two bases. Otherwise, this is arguably the most difficult Achievement to obtain, and players often get it as a matter of luck. If you want to screw things up for enemies, if the game is close and you're ticking too slow to win... let them take a flag. I highly encourage screwing Achievements for the enemy faction, and considering this is one of the harder ones to get, there's no reason opponents should get it at your expense.
[The Defiler / Knight of Arathor]
Get Exalted with the Defilers / League of Arathor. Many old school players will already have this in the bag or have a head start, specially those who experienced the old Mark of Honor turn-ins that granted reputation. On normal days, every 200 resources grant 10 reputation and on holidays such as this weekend, the reputation ticks every 150 resources. This grants a total of 100 reputation per win on normal days and 130 during the Call to Arms holiday. You're certain to get the 100 won games on the way to this if you're just starting from scratch. I'll peg this one as hard because if you'r starting from Neutral, it can be quite the grind with no turn-ins. If you got the reputation from this a long time ago, more power to you.
[Arathi Basin All-Star]
Assault and defend 2 bases in one game. This takes some effort and luck, but completely doable on anyone's first game. Again, the hard part is defending a flag. If you manage to do this, you might as well go for the Overly Defensive Achievement because you're not guaranteed to have easy recaps every game. Still easier than Overly Defensive because 2 flag tags are much easier than defending one.
[Arathi Basin Assassin]
Kill 5 players at each node. This isn't a hard Achievement as it is annoying... this requires players to constantly move from node to node, which usually means that nodes will be left empty. If all players are pursuing this Achievement, for example, nobody would be left to defend anything as it kills the chances of killing elsewhere. It's not a difficult Achievement because it's based off Honorable Kills and not killing blows. As soon as you get five at one node, simply move to another that's being assaulted. There'll be a lot of games where you'll come up short of a few, but generally, this is doable with a bit of effort. Fortunately, it doesn't require that your team win.
D. Eye of The Storm
[Eye of the Storm Victory]
Win Eye of the Storm.
[Eye of the Storm Veteran]
Complete 100 victories in Eye of the Storm, Which will be time consuming and boring, grr!
[The Perfect Storm]
Win Eye of the Storm with a score of 2,000 to 0. This Will be not nearly as hard as alteric valley just get a really good pre-made.
[Eye of the Storm Domination]
Win Eye of the Storm 10 times while holding 4 bases. I would call this luck if you didn't pre-made it, which i suggest you do to make this go faster.
Flurry:
Win Eye of the Storm in under 6 minutes
[Stormtrooper]
Kill 5 flag carriers in a single Eye of the Storm battle.
[Storm Capper]
Personally carry and Capture the Flag in Eye of the Storm. Simple Enough?
[Bound for Glory]
In a single Eye of the Storm match, Capture the Flag 3 times without dying.
[Stormy Assassin]
In a single Eye of the Storm battle, get 5 honorable kills at each of the bases.
[Take a Chill Pill]
In Eye of the Storm, kill a player who is under the effects of the Berserker power-up.
[Bloodthirsty Berserker]
Get a killing blow while under the berserker buff in
Eye of the Storm.
[Storm Glory]
While your team holds 4 of the bases in Eye of the Storm, personally grab the flag and capture it.
E. Warsong Glutch
[Warsong Gulch Veteran]
Win 100 games. Just like all Battleground veteran Achievements, this is just a matter of time. Depending on your luck and your faction, this can breeze fast or painfully slow. If you're grinding for reputation, you're pretty much guaranteed to finish this Achievement before getting to Exalted. As fun as it is to engage in battle mid-field, just remember that the goal of the map is to capture the flag. Unlike other Battlegrounds, Warsong Gulch can drag on for a very, very long time if players don't keep focused on the goal or are too evenly matched.
[Capture the Flag]
Capture the flag. This is one of the easier Achievements in this meta, and it helps if you're a class with some mobility like a Druid, Shaman, or even a Rogue and Mage. That said, it shouldn't be too difficult to do this once out of all the many games you'll be playing.
[Frenzied Defender]
Return 5 flags in a single battle. This is truly one of the more challenging Achievements among all the Battleground one as it requires a great amount of luck, skill, and a decent connection. You must return your team's flag yourself, which necessitates superior clicking skills. Aside from the difficulty of taking down an enemy flag carrier, you're also competing with your teammates to be the first to return the flag. Now try to do this five times, and you can imagine all sorts of things going wrong. One techinique by which to unlock this Achievement is to simply wait for the flag carrier to die, focusing on the flag return rather than actually killing the carrier. Taking down solo flag carriers on your own is a guaranteed return, as well.
[Persistent Defender]
Return 50 flags. This Achievement is just a matter of... persistence. Play enough games of Warsong Gulch while keeping the objectives in mind, you'll be able to unlock this Achievement over time. In fact, constantly trying to complete Frenzied Defender should take you some way towards completing this.
[Warsong Outrider / Silverwing Sentinel]
Gain Exalted reputation with the Warsong Outriders or Silverwing Sentinels. More than anything, this is quite a painful grind for any player starting from scratch. If your team loses without capturing a single flag, you gain 0 reputation. Even if you fought tooth and nail for hours. Old school players have it easier, as Marks of Honor were once turned in for reputation gains. At 35 reputation per flag capture, it will take 1,200 flag captures to move from Neutral to Exalted (less during the Holiday, as it is 35+10 per flag capture). That's a hell of a lot of games. The only upside is that unlike some factions, there's no limit to the reputation you can gain per day. Theoretically, you can play (and win) all day and gain quite a bit of reputation.
[Warsong Expedience]
Win in under 7 minutes. The only way to get this Achievement is if your team plays to, well, perfection. This means that one runner is ready to pick up the flag as soon as it respawns. It takes 20 seconds for the flag to spawn after a capture, so there's about 40 seconds of dead time. You'll need some fast runners -- as mentioned, like Druids -- in order to optimize travel time and finally, you'll need to encounter minimal resistance and not have your team's flag get too far. If your enemies put up even a token fight, keeping the flag for some length of time, you'll easily go over the 7 minute mark which doesn't include the 2 minute preparation period. Alternately, if the Battleground closes early due to not having enough players (5 minute timer), all you need to do is have one capture over the opponent to unlock this Achievement.
[Ironman]
Capture the flag 3 times without dying. Sounds like a difficult Achievement until you realize you don't need to be the one to grab the flag from the enemy base. Another players can drop or pass the flag and it would still count towards the Achievement. This requires that players not die throughout the entire match so while it's easier for some classes and specs, it's quite doable by anybody with the right assistance and circumstance.
[Quick Cap]
Grab and capture the flag in under 75 seconds. This is a truly challenging Achievement that very few players will unlock by accident. Traveling from the enemy flag room to your team's flag room in under 75 seconds will require both speed boots as well as an additional boost from another source such as Swiftness Potions or abilities like Sprint. It also requires absolutely no contestation whatsoever and naturally your team's flag firmly in place. More than the other Achievements, this takes some planning and a confluence of good events.
[Supreme Defender]
Kill 100 flag carriers. Easy as pie. Simply help in taking down flag carriers and you should unlock this Achievement after a few days of playing. You don't have to make the killing blow for this to count, either, so this should come naturally on your way to 100 wins or Exalted.
[Save the Day]
Kill the enemy flag carrier right before they capture the flag. The wording is actually more complicated than that but essentially, you'll need to kill the enemy flag carrier while they're already inside their flag room moments away from capturing your flag. This is hard. The proper thing to do would be to grab the enemy flag in order to delay the cap long enough to kill the carrier. Not grabbing the flag is extremely risky, which makes this Achievement rather challenging. A plethora of stuns, roots, and snares should help you out here.
F. Strand of the Ancients
[Strand of the Ancients Veteran]
Win 100 games. As with all the Battleground veteran Achievements, this is just a matter of time and takes little effort, but a lot of perseverance.
[Steady Hands]
Disarm 5 Massive Seaforium Charges in a single battle. This necessitates that enemy players plant the explosives, which they don't always do. Some offense rely purely on the power of siege vehicles to break down gates. It is a two second channel to dismantle one, and is easily broken by any attack except periodic damage. Players must have a keen eye for the charges, which can be easily obfuscated by smoke and siege vehicle debris. Players must also disarm the charge themselves, so having to compete with teammates makes the Achievement much more difficult. Done on defense.
[Explosives Expert]
Plant 5 Seaforium Charges which successfully damage a wall in a single battle. This is much easier to do than the previous Achievement, as many players on defense will be focused on destroying tanks. It will take ten seconds for an explosive to go off, and any hit on enemies will disrupt their attempts to dismantle it. Players pursuing the Achievement can even attack walls opposite the ones being focused on by siege vehicles so there are fewer defenders. Done on offense.
[The Dapper Sapper]
Plant 100 Seaforium Charges which successfully damage a wall. This is the same as Explosives Expert spread over any number of games. Because this is purely an individual effort that doesn't require enemies to plant bombs or use tanks, this is one of the easiest 'do 100 of this' Achievement. Done on offense.
[Artillery Expert]
Destroy 5 vehicles using a siege turret in a single battle. This should encourage players to man the cannons in Strand of the Ancients. It's important to note that players need only to deal some damage to a tank in order for it to count towards this Achievement, and not necessarily deal the killing blow. Hit some tanks, and hope that teammates finish the job. Players need to be on manning the turret when a vehicle is destroyed for kills to count. Done on defense
[Artillery Veteran]
Destroy 100 vehicles using a siege turret. Same as Artillery Expert, but spread over any number of games. As the veteran title would reveal, it's a matter of perseverance over time. Done on defense.
[Drop it now!]
Kill 5 players carrying seaforium charges in a single battle. If opponents are doing their jobs, this is a very easy Achievement to get and usually unlocked during a player's first game. Players don't need to deal the killing blow, but just be in the vicinity of the kill. Done on defense.
[Drop It!]
Kill 100 players carrying seaforium charges. This is even easier than The Dapper Sapper, which takes conscious effort. Players will get this Achievement through the course of playing several games of Strand of the Ancients without even trying. Done on defense.
[Ancient Protector]
Kill 10 players in the Courtyard of the Ancients in a single battle. A nod to the Ancient Protectors of Warcraft III, this is another ridiculously easy Achievement provided either side manages to breach the Gate of the Yellow Moon. Again, this doesn't require killing blows, so leeching off 10 Honorable Kills is extremely easy. Just like Drop it now!, this is usually one of the first Achievement players unlock in Strand of the Ancients. Done on offense and defense.
[Storm the Beach]
Capture the Titan Relic in under four minutes. This is easier than it sounds, and is about the easiest of the timed win Achievements of the Battlegrounds. It was bugged prior to Patch 3.0.8, which counted the pre-match period and in between, making it impossible to unlock. However, teams can make quick work of gates with focused fire from siege vehicles. Unlike most of the other Achievements, one player can't complete this one alone. Done on offense.
[Not Even a Scratch]
Win a match without losing any siege vehicles. Unless players are faced against completely inept teams, this is one of the more difficult Achievements to pull off. In fact, I try to make it a point to spoil it for any player by destroying at least one vehicle in every game. Because siege vehicles are critical to winning, they are often -- and necessarily -- focused upon. They also cannot be healed, thus the only way to preserve tanks is to kill their attackers. This is another team effort. Groups determined to do this must focus on protecting their siege vehicles, which will more often than not, lead to winning. Good luck! Done on offense.
[Defense of the Ancients]
Win a match without losing any walls. This Achievement, a reference to DotA-AllStars, is extremely difficult for a Horde player to pull off right now because they need to defend for a full ten minutes. Until Blizzard implements the coin toss for Strand of the Ancients, Horde players must work much harder to defend walls. It's still doable, however, and a coordinated group can keep enemies from ever reaching the gates by staying on the docks, killing vehicles and players who pick up explosives. Difficult, but easier to do than Not Even a Scratch. Done on defense.

[The Lurker Above]
You must become an engineer or Revered with the Skyguards for this acheivment, unless you are a mage or a priest. Make a raid and go into SSC, jump to the water, use your cloak (skyguard one or parachute), and have a shaman cast Water Walking on you or use an elixir of Water Walking. Walk to the middle of the cavern, fish, die, and than done?
Priests: Just levitate, no fall damage and water walking.
[Deadliest Catch]
Complete the quest Nat's Measuring Tape if you haven't, it is found in ZG where you summon the fish boss. [Fish Dont Leave Footprints]
Weather-Beaten Journals can be found in at least Curious Crates, Heavy Supply Crate, Iron Bound Trunk, Mithril Bound Trunk, Watertight Trunk and (very rarely) Tightly Sealed Trunk. Drop rate is best for Curious Crates (about 50% contain a journal), however other trunks may be easier to fishI can confirm that the Steam Pump Flotsam pools in Zangarmarsh are great sources for the Heavy Supply Crates, hence the Weather-Beaten Journal as well.
